Nah- The more and more the game is adjusted, balanced with with skills not so great being improved upon etc, the more a limited action bar will provide variety of skill sets from player to player. We are forced to choose what fits best with our play style. In some cases class builds pretty much have 1 to 2 of the same skills across the board because they are the obvious best choices but as mentioned skills are being reworked all the time.
If more slots are added to the bars there will be less variety as it allows for ALL or more of the most powerful abilities to be added which and so promoting more cookie cutter builds.
Keep it limited. Improve the skill sets so choice matters more and we'll see more variation in player builds and abilities IMO.
The game has already shown that 5 skill slots leads to build homogenization. With 5 skills you better make sure that you have the essential and nothing else. Some skill for sustain, some skills for damage, some skill or skill combo to get the hell out and some skill that should have been a passive anyway .The essential skills are pretty obvious for each class and if you look around you will see that everybody uses them. One or two more skills slot would only give more room for experimentation with non essential skills. It would make PVP more unpredictable and fun also but I guess people like to see the same pattern over and over again.
I cant really believe so many would really be ok with just 2x5 slots.. Half of them must be trollin or something.. I mean it eans absolutely no sense to me with so many skills that one could use and just forced to comply with 5 most useful. No room for cool useles stuff or character flavour spells/skill.
I really am not okay.. I mean i DO have all the skill i NEED but the key word is NEED. I want just couple more slots that id like to use as flavour or just for coolnes sake.
I mean that i want to have room for useles stuff as well, thats all. Is that too much to ask?
However, I am only for a few extra slots that are permanent and non-changeable through weapon swap. That way we keep all the 5 slot essentials and can have a few passive-like skills that stop unintentionally toggling off, eating up 2 slots and bugging the crap out of everybody such as pets and magelight and what have you.

This way you can have 20 people playing the same class in the same zone and none of them will have the same abilities slotted and each one of them will play their character a different way. Making each one of them unique.
