I understand challenging, but am I really supposed to fight 20ish mobs at once as a Nightblade?

ekram28✭I had the same issue as a NB, my work around was using the water in which swimming resets the mobs back to there original place, pick them off one at a time with stealth then back into the water. If the archers shoot you in the water, then head to the island and they will be the only mob to follow.
The water I'm reffering to is the water to the right of the main island and the small island is also to the far right side.Edited by ekram28 on April 26, 2014 5:43AM2 -
Endurance✭✭✭easy to kill the spectral army theres two large groups stay to the far right and start off with a scorched earth AoE, switch back to daggers and spam steel tornados, do the same to the second group.. only problem is once their dead both your hp and stamina will be so low and wont have any time to regen so you basically die in one fireball afterwardsI'm outta here0 -

This is not veteran content, it is a level 40ish quest in Bangkorai...and she unleashes undead on you 20 at a time which is way beyond insane! Also someone said it was two groups, well I got 4 groups of them...so that's wrong too.
I made it through the first three groups by going across the water and getting them to come at me 4 at a time that way, however the 4th group came all at once and I was surrounded by all 20 of them.

Ashigaru✭✭✭✭Ok i have to say after completing this whole thing its pretty much a joke. Finally killed the chick after a few hours and a few thousand in gold from repairs to potions and i got 10 gold for a 3 wave add fight with the boss between and not only that after completing cadwels list i get a lvl 50 necklace. WTH, a lvl 50 necklace for a vr 10 completion quest line O but i did get 300 gold from it. Not only was the last fight to complete this a pain in the ass but then its like they are laughing as us giving us a lvl 50 necklace.1 -
Separate them out if at all possible , but quests like these are meant to be played in a group. Best of luck to you.1

alanmatillab16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭How in the hell am I supposed to kill her lol, there are 2 of her both doing the same stupid amounts of uninterruptable, undodgable damage. No matter what I do I last roughly 3 seconds. Zap, Zap, Zap dead. I don't even get to anywhere near the point where she summons adds.
Edit: Her spells ignore LOS as well, they just shoot through anything in the way. This is the "normal" version too, not the veteran one.

✭✭✭To group you must be on exactly the same 'phase' of the quest.
Having said that if when the adds(skeleton fighters and archers) spawn you jump up onto the platform directly infront of you, they only manage to get up there one or two at a time.....
Just sit there and pick them off as they come at you..... they enter the platform from the rear.
Septima herself is not too hard just throw everything you've got at her

rwelshmub17_ESO✭✭✭Like the earlier posts, its impossible as a lvl 44 NB. In about two hours I did almost have her but her friends did me in. I just got too frustrated and just got out of there. I like the challenge but you have no chance with all the others piling on and with the lag recently you are hitting keys nothing happening. If you do run back up the path they will come at you 3 to 5 at time which is manageable until the archers show up. I will try the platform next time but I need to take a break from that quest.
It is frustrating though quests with my bow and DW NB are generally hard but when I do the same quest with my alt sorceror or templar different story. It can still be tough but no comparison its easier with my alts.

Using the water/swimming technique feels like an exploit. I used it every time I played that part of the quest to finish that encounter but it feels wrong. Like it's some weird piece of content that is meant to be grouped or like the final quest in the Rift there is some special thing you need to complete it.
Think about the final quest in the Ebonheart Pact. You fight the resurrected Giant. If you take him on solo you better damn well have some fragments of Wulfrad. If you take him on as a team then the fragments aren't necessary.
Which means that it seems to me they've chopped some content out of Bangkorai to gather the equivalent to the shards of Wulfrad but forgot to fix the final battle you face there. So you're left to using some weird side-effect of the game mechanics to finish the quest. Very unsatisfying. Especially given how awesome Bangkorai is in general. It's easily my favorite zone in the whole game apart from that one battle.

✭Hi there,
I had the chance to do this several times due to bugs with septima (she would do funny things like just suddenly stop taking part in the fight, doubling herself or deciding that its time for another reset just when her health was down to 10% and AFTER the minions fights) and its a challenging fight.
I did this as a templar ... so there is not much I can say about skills. Well, generally -> try to take out the archers,
-> do not swim - just a waiste of time unless you really have good and cheap healing skills (potions won't do the trick).
I used to make use of shields (immovable, or anything that will help you survive) charge into the mob and focus on the archers first ( i used 1H&S as well as a templar ultimate to do both deal a bit damage and get another shield for a few seconds - but any good aoe (dealing usually more dmg in shorter time) should do the trick as well maybe eg. steel tornado from DW) . After that, run around & heal and take your time with the rest of the minions -> the fight will just go on with that tharn-brute immediatelly after you finished the mob - so make sure to be ready for her when killing the last minion. Some said that the minions are easier to be killed with a bow - i tried that too, but my bow abilities at that time were rather underperforming. Nevertheless it might be worth a try. The second wave will be more challenging than the first, but you will have a short break before it starts.
