Sorry you don't like DKs. I can't change who I am! haha. Give it a chance and watch the entire thing if you haven't. It starts off with us just fighting one person, but quickly escalates into us always being outnumbered.

I will probably make another one soon with a twist. It is going to be a video of 2 players PvPing and it will have both points of view (1 archer and 1 DK). Keep an eye out for it!

yea Make sure NBS can hit for 2k and sorcs can hit for 2k but bring DKS in line

I feel like the DK hate shouldn't be near as much as it is currently. The classes are much more levelled out than they were before. I would actually say it is easier to pull off killing people while outnumbered as a Templar in the current game's state. I have also seen extremely good sorcs that are both tanky and have good dps. I can't say that I have run into a tanky knightblade, but they definitely have the best burst DPS.

Maybe the hate is just people still thinking DKs are as OP as they were when the game was released.

As a Nightblade that doesn't wear light armor, that video was more than a little disheartening. Props to the maker, though. The vid itself wasn't bad, just the mechanics it highlights were disappointing.

Thank you for the compliment, but I am quite confused with the rest of your comment.

First off, any class can pull off the same feats I did in my video. The only difference would be a KB would have a different style (sneaky) and attack from the shadows instead of rushing in like a tank. Through my endless hours of PvP I have run into some amazing players from all classes. That being said, I have also run into some horrible players from all classes (including DK).

PvP in this game takes skill. It takes time to learn how every mechanic works in your class and other classes so you know how to manage resources and counter other players' attacks.

DK's damage output is by far the worst of all the classes. My highest single target attack hits for about 400. A KB's HEAVY ATTACK hits me for over 1,000 sometimes because of their bonuses, not to mention how much Snipe hits for. Sorcs and templars also have higher damage output.

I'm tired of people instantly saying DKs are OP so that is why I can kill people. After the nerfs to DK and buffs to other classes we are all on pretty even grounds at the moment. Look up videos on youtube for other classes and you will see some great players accomplish the same feats I have.

you dont think DKs are OP if the ONLY class youve ever played in PvP is a DK. its so blatantly obvious that discussing it is a joke, seriously you cant comment when the only class youve ever played is a DK. judging by the ratings and comments in this thread youre obviously a little in denial, or moreso just ignorant because of lack of experience with other classes perspectives.

Hmm actually, I play a sorc too. So please ask before you assume. I also have a brother that plays a templar and he also kills multiple players while outnumbered. Also, my friend plays a KB and he also kills multiple people while outnumbered. I am very familiar with all the 4 classes of ESO.

Let me guess. DKs are OP because:

- Other players kill THEMSELVES because they shoot projectiles at us while we use our 4 second reflect skill that could easily be avoided.
- Other players die to our max hit of 400'ish? Not sure how this is an issue (oh wait, it's not)
- DKs can tank through a lot of damage? Oh wait, that isn't because we are DK. It is because a lot of DKs play with sword + board which can make any class tanky. Either way, tanking through damage isn't killing anyone...

So please, as you can see. I have no idea what makes a DK overpowered. I really want some serious insight on this topic or are you just basing your claim off how DKs used to be before all the class balances?

Didnt like the vid. The invasion, talons, whip, gdb & banner setup is so yesterday and cheap to watch. Excessive use of invasion - taloning caused multiple of your opponents to not be able to break cc.

Killing nubs in the corner with banner is just sad, not great to watch. You never, ever switched bars infight, you just stand there hitting that whip button really hard and even slowmotioning your final whipspam...

I think the performance you displayed was just not very good or interesting to watch, no offense.

As a nightblade main I try to avoid DK's at all costs because even with my burst opener i can never bring them down (with both bow build and the cookie cutter ambush surprise/concealed build) and all they do is spam GDB and go back to full health, effectively negating any damage i do to them. Sometimes I'll get lucky and they won't break the CC from the sneak attack and that's the only time I can get a kill on DK's.

Battle roar needs a nerf really hard imo. A lot of the DK's power comes from that passive as it provides not only a spike heal but restores stamina and magicka to give you the ability to span talons and whip more. It's effectively a tri-pot.

And we all know the bs with invasion plus talons being unbreakable cc. That just isn't fun to play against.

All in all great vid but this just proves everyone's point that DK's can 1vX and win. The "tank" class should not be able to do that.

If I were you I would cut out a few seconds of that video. The 3v1 where guys are just standing there looking at maps or charging heavy attacks should be cut. They wanted you to kill them so they could use an FC.

Standing inside a doorway and waiting for players to instance in only to be spammed with aoe and whips from the side is not really a skill highlight at all. About the equivalent of watching whackamole highlights from Chuck-e-Cheese.

That being said I run a similar build. I think you are wasting a spot on your bar by using Razor Armor. You should sub this out for cinder storm. Armor and Spell Resistance in PVP is actually not a very large difference maker. Along the same lines Coagulating blood should be subbed for Green Dragon Blood. That stamina regen increase will go a lot further than the 2 secs of spell resistance. Especially if you are already using razor armor....

My biggest critique, however, is that for most of the video you are running with a Templar. This is kind of large group easy mode. A great deal of focus is on the templar and letting you run from enemy to enemy without all of the focus. This is a valid strategy for PVP but it doesn't highlight your individual ability.

Areas I think you can improve. Look at you ability morphs and bar per my above comments. Maybe move unstable flame to your main bar and move GDB to your second. That makes your resto bar insane for heals and buffs. Weaving unstable flame's dot into your whip and talons will also up your dps. Use your ultimate when it is at 100%. I saw a few times where it was 300% that means you could have used banner 3 times when you only used it once.

There will always be DK haters due to the state of the class at launch. IMO templars are way more OP than the DK now. DK's are not OP, but they are easier to use and maximize than some of the other classes which gives the class an edge. IMO right now the only class that needs some major issues adressed to bring them inline is the NB. NBs do not need more damage, they just need their cloak to actually work and maybe a speed boost associated with it. They are a great glass cannon, but it would be better for balance if they could move in and out of combat a little more efficiently.
