If I were you I would cut out a few seconds of that video. The 3v1 where guys are just standing there looking at maps or charging heavy attacks should be cut. They wanted you to kill them so they could use an FC.

Standing inside a doorway and waiting for players to instance in only to be spammed with aoe and whips from the side is not really a skill highlight at all. About the equivalent of watching whackamole highlights from Chuck-e-Cheese.

That being said I run a similar build. I think you are wasting a spot on your bar by using Razor Armor. You should sub this out for cinder storm. Armor and Spell Resistance in PVP is actually not a very large difference maker. Along the same lines Coagulating blood should be subbed for Green Dragon Blood. That stamina regen increase will go a lot further than the 2 secs of spell resistance. Especially if you are already using razor armor....

My biggest critique, however, is that for most of the video you are running with a Templar. This is kind of large group easy mode. A great deal of focus is on the templar and letting you run from enemy to enemy without all of the focus. This is a valid strategy for PVP but it doesn't highlight your individual ability.

Areas I think you can improve. Look at you ability morphs and bar per my above comments. Maybe move unstable flame to your main bar and move GDB to your second. That makes your resto bar insane for heals and buffs. Weaving unstable flame's dot into your whip and talons will also up your dps. Use your ultimate when it is at 100%. I saw a few times where it was 300% that means you could have used banner 3 times when you only used it once.

There will always be DK haters due to the state of the class at launch. IMO templars are way more OP than the DK now. DK's are not OP, but they are easier to use and maximize than some of the other classes which gives the class an edge. IMO right now the only class that needs some major issues adressed to bring them inline is the NB. NBs do not need more damage, they just need their cloak to actually work and maybe a speed boost associated with it. They are a great glass cannon, but it would be better for balance if they could move in and out of combat a little more efficiently.

    @Strakand‌

Not sure if I am on the right forums site anymore... thank you very much for posting like a real person. I greatly appreciate all your critiques. This was my first PvP video and I want critiques like this so I can improve when I make the second one.

Now to address your comments. I probably should have cut the 1 vs 3 you are referring to. They were not letting me kill them to go to a FC, but they didn't put up much of a fight either. I'm pretty sure they were just newer PvPers that didn't really know what they were doing.

As far as the clip of the players entering the building while I kill them, I have to disagree with you. It would be one thing if there were just a few, but there were a lot of players I killed very quickly in that clip (more than 10). I thought it was entertaining enough to be in the video even though I was hitting them from the side, but that is just both of our opinions being different which I am ok with.

I keep razor armor because without it I get hit very hard by certain attacks without it. It has helped me survive multiple situations where I was outnumbered. It's funny you mention cinder storm and green dragon blood. I actually switched to that after making this video. You will see this new style in my next vid! ;)

Yes, I ran with a templar for some of my clips in the video, but it certainly wasn't most of the clips. There were only 3 clips with the templar and he wasn't even healing. I understand that he drew some attention from me, but I didn't think he was getting much more attention than me. I will try to get clips that focus more on my skill in my next video though.

I don't think I will move unstable flame to my primary bar. The reason is because since unstable flame is a DoT I don't have to cast it very often. I would rather have GDB on my primary bar to heal myself quickly when necessary without having to worry about switching weapons.

The reason you see my ultimate over 100% sometimes is because I only use it when I need it. It is very important as a DK to time your ultimate carefully. If I used it in the beginning of fights then people would just roll out of it so I drain their stamina first. I also wait to use it until the middle of the fights so I can benefit from the regen in health, magic, and stamina.

I agree completely with your last paragraph. Thank you again for the detailed comment. I hope to run into more people like you on this game.

@Emperor I think that the tower situation should be looked at harder. There may have been a lot of players that were loading in, but they are were put at a nasty disadvantage. The players are dealing with the graphic transfer, weapons sheathed, and facing directly towards the stairs. Not to mention not every player loads in at the same time.

While this is a valid tactic during PVP, it doesn't really highlight "skill". That's my only point here.

I see your reasoning on spiked armor, I disagree, but to each their own. Its a preference choice when push comes to shove.

Yes, ultimates are situational, but my point was that once it is that overcharged you are losing opportunity. A couple clips began with standard at 200% so at that point you would already have recharged by the time you actually used it... you could used it to burn more resources on your foes and then dropped it when they were out of stamina anyway. I used to do the same thing, but I have found it way better to make sure I don't stockpile the opportunity too long.

Another preference, but I like have unstable on my bar because it still has a dmg on hit. It is also a very low cast cost, so if I want another bump of damage it can be nice for managing resources.

Either way keep having fun, and pushing the limits. It is always good to see active dedicated players.

Pfff, you edited out the part when you were just about to die on top of the castle roof hehe :P

Other than that, not bad. bit too much DK in it though :D

Actually, there was nothing else to watch after I ended that clip ;) The only people left up there were 2 friendlies.

Thanks for the compliment (I think?) though lol. My next video will have a point of view from a knightblade too so there won't be too much DK for you hopefully! ;)

Great feedback considering most of the posters on these forums.

I love the suggestion to move the heal to the Resto bar as this should give GDB the resto bonus to healing (I assume).

Hmm, I'm not sure if it would actually give the resto bonus to GDB since GDB has a set amount it heals (33% of missing health), but I would have to test it to be sure.

If people actually played a "good" DK and stopped with the hate they would understand.

I've seen you guys who have sorc mains and NB mains and temp mains who stroll out on the battlefield in your DK disguise thinking you're a PvP God and then you eat dirt.

It's pretty obvious to the DKs who live it and excel at it.

A portion of the population don't excel at being a good DK ,however...they excel at having a guild at their back(like so many DK emps I've seen.) and those DKs are more than worthy of your hate. They have mine as well. They sit and talon and impulse and talon and impulse or dragons blood and talon and drop standard near the ppl who are almost dead. Those DKs are quite fun to solo or take on 2V2...cause they can't..and they eat dirt.
