boons and divine trait

So you said you fixed the divine trait but you actually didn't. I ran some test if you use the lord born with 3 armor pieces with divine trait it does well it inceases a not sure if that's meant or not. the boon gives you +100 health and the 3 divine armor traits give you an additional +200 points just a bout, but if you use the Mage boon those divine armor traits only give you +6 more magicka. the boon gives you +100 but the divine doesn't increase or barely does. So yes still broken big time. The theif trait only raises your crit by .3% when you use a divine. So with 3 armor pieces all with diveine trait you only are getting .9% total. Yes I've done the research, I will be making a video on this for ZOS to see. Also the Lady boon same thing the divine traits barely increase at all. My thing is does anyone know using the LOVER boon how much does it actually reduce the damage from spells? Does anyone know for sure?

also to add to just found it the divine trait in armor doesn't increase at all if you use the TOWER boon
  • Dimitrie
    Dimitrie
nevermind just found out the SHADOW boon just increases your overall damage
  • Dimitrie
    Dimitrie
wait sorry scratch that glicthed.. the shadow does not do what I said so I'm curious just how much of extra crit damage do you get from that boon
  • Dimitrie

and to continue the APPRENTICE boon does not increase your focus rating like it should. Your focus rating is your spell penetration stat just like armor penetration is your armor pen stat. Just doing some research for you here ZOS.. Hope you are reading this.

    I noticed the same thing.
I now have 5 piece all with +4.5% increase mundus stone ability.
Nothing changed in my character menu if i swap out the gear...
Does that mean the trait doesn't work?

Or maybe there is a soft cap? I'm currently on 50.1% spell crit, but that's mostly from pvp bonuses.

the mundus stone works for theif but only increases it .3 each divine trait you have. it works on health mundus stone as well but its broken on a lot of the others.

The thief Mundus stone gives 5% crit, now with 5*4.5 divines that value should increase by 22.5 %.
    1.225*5=6.125
So you should be getting around 1% extra crit for your 5 divines traits.
are either of your spell or weapon crit stats increasing at all?

The character sheet does not update properly when switching mundus stones and you may need to hit a loading screen, re-equip Divines trait gear, or logout and back in to refresh the stats.

So, if I'm butt nakey, I'm on 29% spell crit.
I have all buffs from pvp campaign.
I then add 5 pieces with increased Mundus stone effects of 4.5%
and 1 piece with increase of 5.5%

This totals to a spell crit total of 30.3% (no mage light, food buffs etc)

Now I'm no mathematician, but I don't think that is right.

I also tested logging etc, so its not an issue with the character screen, as it also does change each time i add/remove an item.

    Thoughts?

This is how the divines traits are supposed to work, everything is working as intended.
The divines traits are working properly, no one said they were good.

..so 6 items only give me an increase of 1%....
lol I can see the math now, forgive me, I'm blonde.
but 6 items to gain only 1% does seem almost useless...

I think I must've thought that +4.5% increase was the actual increase.
Like the standard is 5%, then +4.5% to the total,
    Like 5% + 4.5% = 9.5%...

I could see that being really over powered I guess.
I wish it would show up as overcharged if it does start to max at 3 or 4 items...

You seem surprised, this is only the third time they said its been fixed, gotta cut ZOS programmers some slack here, there just interns not even out of Bob's tech school & Bait Shoppe.....

Heck! What's the point of the mundus stones then?

Surely, if it says increase weapon crit by 5% and your base is 30%, then you should get 35% crit. Not 5% of 30%!?

I'm completely confused with this and the divines traits. I used the thief stone and didn't see any change in my crit, I even reported the bug. What's the point of it if you gain 0.1% on your crit?

You're getting The Thief Mundus stone confused with the divines traits.
Using The Thief mundus stone gives you 5% extra crit.
Using The Thief mundus stone with a 5% divines trait gives you (5*1.05)% extra crit (5.25% extra crit).
Although Last I heard there was a bug where The Thief mundus stone was increasing your crit yet the character screen was not showing the increase(not sure if this is still happening).
Finally, yes there does appear to be some kind of issue with the divines traits, I tried The Mage mundus stone with several divines traits and there was no increase in the magnitude of the stone's effect. Which mundus stones are currently not benefitting from the Divines trait remains to be seen.

Surely it doesn't work as intended. Why using divine trait to gain a "whooping" 0.25% crit when you could a trait to gain a decent amount of extra damage or armor

yea but my point in the thread is the divine trait itself doesn't work. Mundus stone whateer but no matter what mundus stone you use the divine trait barely adds additional. Its not worth it by any means. I know this I have videos proving this. But thing is what exactly is the reduce spell damage amount to? are we talking reduce spell damage taken by 5%...10%... 15%... what exactly? ZOS come on read my thread please respond

Reportedly 'The lover' stone adds 100 spell resistance aka a waste of time
(oh and by the way, the only way to get the benefit of the divines trait currently is to be wearing your divines trait gear when you change mundus stones).
