    Inb4People saying it's not "lore-friendly".

IMO I don't really care, but races means new passives, so it's kinda like going back on your choices in character creation, so I'm voting no for this.

I don't care so much about lore. I do care about people being able to pay $10 to change to the flavor-of-the-hour build.

Make a choice. Stick with it. If down the line, someone says "Oh,that was a bad race to pick," you'll live.

Do research prior to making a new character. Very simple. If you can know/understand your odds prior to rolling the dice... do it!

    Otherwise... Don't gamble!

Once in-app-purchases enter the game, there's no way of getting rid of them (since they are very profitable) and after a while ESO will become pay2win.

I'm not against it costing in-game gold though. Adding in a barber would be cool too.

I don't have a problem with you changing your race, just with you changing while playing it.

That's the lore-breaking part for me, and yes there is lore against changing race, but as long as I don't get to see it happening, I can live with it.

If you ask for the race to be changed and it's done while you are playing another character, fine, I have no problem with that.

Race, no. Faction, yes (for those who have access to "any race any faction"). I initially created characters in all factions, not really understanding how VR content would be. Now I wish they were all in the same faction.

I think there should be class changes, and class abilities should stay the same in level progress, and other skils xp like in skill point reset, here we should be able to reset class.

Major character creation choices should not be changeable, in my opinion. Race and class should require a re-roll, both to protect lore and prevent FOTM jumping. An Altmer can't just suddenly decide he's going to be a Breton and poof, no pointy ears. Class changes, from a lore perspective, should have a character starting at the bottom learning and honing their new skills.

Faction could be changeable in game, but I'd rather see it as a very lengthy quest process that most people would only want to bother with once and stay there.

    Why not?

Im always amazed that people prefer to stuck other to their calls , even if this would just make them quit , than actually allow change so that they keep playing the game.

I voted yes mainly due to the racial changes that have occurred since the game was released. I would prefer they offered everyone in game a one time character re customization (not class). This will allow them to change Race, Looks, and Name.

Just out of curiosity, what racial changes are you talking about?

I'm aware of some extremely minor adjustments to two racial passives since launch.

I don't want to change races on my characters. But if someone else wishes to do so, it's fine by me. It's not effecting my gameplay or "immersion" in any way.

Only thing I'm against is class changes, since it removes the purpose of making alts. Also removes some of the pressure on ZOS when it comes to class balance.

Racial doesn't have the same impact as class when it comes to game play, that's why I'm fine with it. For many it's just a choice based on lore and cosmetic really.

Anyway, I have no doubt that race, gender, cosmetic and even faction changes will come in the future. Most commercial MMO's have that as paid features.

It's more likely it's because all you perceive your wives as is as that: tail. There's no point in marrying someone if you don't respect them and value them as an individual.

I voted yes, but think they should use the existing "disguise" as an template to change your look. Basically be able to copy the gear you want onto another race.

Make a choice and stick with it IMO. If by level 20 you don't know if you made the right choice, I'd say tough luck. If you made the wrong choice, back to menu and reroll.

Like really people? Really? Yeah no, lets just not have that thing that comes standard with a triple A MMO just for the sake of being a unique snowflake or for the reasons of "I don't want this, so nobody should have it".

Does this also come with a V12 character, all quests completed, all skyshards found, all lore books found, free Ancient Elf/Barbaric/Daedric/Imperial/Primal motif books, lvl 50 in all crafts, a lvl 50 horse, and several months worth of completed training among many other things that you'll need to do all over again starting from the very bottom? No? Oh.

    Don't make a poll, reroll.

Pfff , there is no chance im spending all the time i spent on my templar on a second char.

If it ever gets to the point i get annoyed by playing a breton templar , i would just quit lols , i would not spend more hundreds of hours making a new char.

Then again , i did pick my race already thinking about which would be the best one for my class.
