I just read on the road ahead that they will be introducing subscription loyalty rewards, usually games have this as well as free to play, so i wonder if its going ftp?
OP, you don't remember all the whining threads that flooded the forums over that dog and the Steam release? People were whining constantly about loyalty for a good week or more.
Obviously this is ZOS' response to that and not an indication the game is going free to play.

I see the pattern:
1. Whine
2. Repeat 1 for a week
3. Profit!

Did they post a new Road Ahead or is this based off the old one?

i will always pay sub personally but do wonder if it might be good for the game to draw more folks in? Perhaps a free trial atleast get them hooked first.
anyway the more money they make the more content we get, just thought it was an interesting point to make in the road ahead.

In an unrelated development I'm wondering if Ice Wraiths make good pies.
Yeah, I see it s more of a "don't unsubscribe while you wait for the content we promoted at Quakecon that is still a ways off. Look! We'll give you stuff for staying while you wait!"

I know people dislike the fact that pets take up valuable bank/bag space. But I am just going to say that I would be totally willing to create a mule just for the sole purpose of holding on to all my pets.
Bring it on, ZOS!

I thought they were planning on making pets show up in a menu or something, so they don't take up inventory space?

No but it is, eventually . It will be a freemium model.
