I'd like something a bit more substantial than a pet - I've got my Guar and I'm not planning on opening up a zoo anytime soon. Perhaps a equippable object that gives you some advantage to crafting or some disguises or something.

People seem to think that the ice wraith pet is the only reward they are planning to give, ever.

That's not how it was worded, or how any of the other loyalty programs work...

I know there will be other rewards evetually. There just seems to be an all round focus on pets right now though and I can't figure it out. You can only use one at a time and all they do is poop, grunt, eat you out of backpack and tent and get under your feet.

As long as they count already played time (ie from early access on) in the loyalty program then I say it is a good idea. Otherwise its another middle finger to the already existing player base, who have already been loyal to eso, like the steam dog.

Wonder how it will work in practice? If everyone who is subbed in a particular month gets the reward or only those who have subbed continously since the first time they subbed? Or everyone who has been subbing since launch or ....?

Will be interested to see the details.

Probably (hopefully?) bits of everything. I'd like to see something for early adopters (say, first 3 months) that would alleviate people's discontent over the Steam pet, and then something for amount of time played (doesn't need to be continuous).

I don't think it is a bad thing, of course, many games do that. But it seems another step to stimulate us (or many of us at least) to keep our subscription based on what we will have someday instead of what we have now.

I wish it was pretty much anything other than a vanity pet. The last thing I need is another vanity pet I won't take out of the mail because it wastes a bank slot or slot in my bag to use. I took one vanity pet out of the mail and as soon as I realized that I had to keep it in my bank the rest are sitting in my mail right next to all those costumes I was sent.

How about as a subscriber reward allow our vanity pets and costumes to be saved outside of our limited storage?

And yet the forums exploded when a pet was offered to new players instead of the "veterans" during a sale. Seems like they're listening to the players (albeit the wrong ones, but they're listening).

Nothing new, it has been a trend with ZoS since the Starter Islands and starter weapons decisions....

I had a lot of fun with the loyalty program in FFXIV, but they expanded the rewards to stuff beyond a pet.

I'm sure Zeni has the same thing in mind. A costume would be really cool!

Pets would be better if they gave us a separate bag for pets/trophy items etc. I have so many of these "fun" items they take up a lot of bag space.

Personally, I'd rather have a cool costume (make it dyeable so everyone doesn't look identical).

As long as you have paid for 90 days of game time (regardless of your payment method), you'll be eligible to receive the High Hrothgar Wraith vanity pet.

So the system check who since day 1 paid for 90 days and gives a pet? It is easy to get atleast. Should cover most since release.
