I have two master Enchanters: "Sadae" enchanting = 45, and "S N O W" enchanting = 42. Both 3/3 in Hireling, with "Aspect Improvement" and "Potency Improvement" maxed out. I haver NEVER got a gold Kuta from a hireling, EVER!
I always assumed they just didn't bring them, and today I found out they can. I found some forum threads from other players with the same problem, but no answers.
This means I've lost out on many dozens of thousands of gold from Kutas I should have been getting but haven't. And please don't blame random numbers; no RNG in the world is THAT bad!
Please, please, please find out why this is happening to some people and fix it. This is horribly unfair, and I want to get Kutas from my hirelings too.
I've respecced twice (for different reasons) and did that both times. That has nothing to do with it. (Nor should it.)JonzzLonewolf wrote: »Try a respec and put the 3 points into the hireling all at one go, and test the results after a couple of weeks.
@Paralyse - If you can get over yourself for moment, this isn't some RNG issue. People getting several Kutas a week versus somebody that has NEVER got one ever in over four months is a bug in the game!
And getting several items a week all that time that are worth 3-4k each IS a lot of gold! And for two characters yet! So stop attacking players getting affected by a bug that isn't affecting you, and stop blaming everything on RNG, because no RNG in the world can roll 0 out of 10, 4 times a day for over 4 months!
Do you think that in the history of the world a 1000 random flips have ever turned up heads every time? No. Before you go advertising your ignorance, do the math and figure out how much time it would take before that would statistically happen.Someone doesn't understand how "random" works. You can flip a coin 1000 times and get heads every time.
Hence why it's a "bug". Because no RNG in the world would only target some players like that!If there were a bug in hireling loot, it would affect all players equally, not single out certain players.
This is a bug, and not a RNG issue.
I've recieved a total of about 40 Dreugh Wax, 30 Rosin, even about 10 Tempering Alloys from smithing that I only picked up recently, and to this day only ONCE I have recieved Kuta. Mind you, I get Rekuta from hireling every other day or so. My ench hireling was the very first one I got, too, like a week or so after early access, and I updated it pretty fast as well. That's just too much to blame on RNG. Yeah, you can flip a coin 1000 times and get heads every time. But if more people - and apparently I'm not alone in this - get those 1000 heads, maybe that's a tricky coin they got there, you know, one with 2 heads;) Mind you, notice the lack of "oh I NEVER recieve Dreugh Wax/Rosin/Tempering Alloy" threads. RNG god are apparently not so strict about those.@Paralyse - If you can get over yourself for moment, this isn't some RNG issue. You might have forgotten that aspect runes, in general, are scarce, both in the open world and in deconstruction. This means that I would naturally expect you to receive less of them through your hirelings.
Also, I've got hirelings on both my toons, and have to date received a grand total of 1 Dreugh Wax and 1 Kuta. This is perfectly fine by me, since that's two expensive items I got for zero cost. I'm not going to sit around and complain that my free loot isn't good enough, because I know up front that it's likely to be junk.

You know, in my opinion Enchanting seems the hardest thing to level. Perhaps this will change?
