I have actually had it lock out, thinking my keyboard is bad. Logging, reloadui, etc nothing changed it being locked and cant swap. Often I have to hit the swap button 2 or 3 times to switch.

Started to tell my guildies last Sunday I couldnt go PvP run since I coudlnt swap. Then mysteriously it worked again, long after I had try to fix it.

ZoS your barking up the wrong tree with this one, the old way may have been a little latent, but it wasnt buggy.

I'm sorry to say that I haven't ever seen the same kind of problems that you're reporting after the changes to WS went live. If anything, weapon swapping runs even smoother than before. I'm playing EU. Overall smaller latency, and the client-side caching added recently, work very well together.

In no way would I want to deny that a) you're experiencing problems, and b) that what you describe is very frustrating to experience. If you haven't already, you should /bug it in-game. Make sure to give them any information (like system specs, ISP, times at which it occurs, etc.) that may be helpful in tracking down this issue.

Is this why I have had odd moments where my controls are non responsive, and my character just stands there looking stupid? I thought it was just from specific abilities like Volcanic Rune slotted or looking at a critter.

The critter bug was supposedly fixed in 1.3.3:

Abilities will no longer become unusable when targeting a critter.

If you think that you're still encountering it, by all means /bug it.

Well, I suspect how well weapon swapping works is dependant on how good your connection is/how overloaded the server is. I know drawing/sheathing your weapons doesn't work when your disconnected, (which means the client, for some reason I don't understand, requires confirmation from the server) so it would seem likely swapping does too.

I've noticed the last few days the game seems to have gotten much laggier, but I've been under the impression it's something on my (or rather, my ISP's) end. I don't know if they're doing upgrades or what, but my connection is practically non-existent in the mornings, (which for all I know could have been true for a while, I've been getting up unusually early on weekends, and have had a couple days off work) And it's been flat out down for a couple minutes a few times in the evenings, so I just assumed the laginess I've been seeing has been part of that.

Since 1.3.3 my weapons will lock out of swapping if I use two different types.
I've been relegated to running the same type of weapon on both bars in order to effectively swap between skill bars.

Interestingly, if I have different weapon types the bars will swap but I will be unable to cast weapon-specific skills (while class skills are still available).

It seems to be tied to an issue where sometimes my weapons will end up in my Armour tab of my bag when swapped in a slot with a Shield.

I use it all the time, during fights, and it works well.

What is new since the last patch is that many mobs now have cc and other powers that can hang you up good.

Has nothing to do with mobs, it is happening in cyrodiil and im not CCd when it happens.
