Its the same, only thing that changes are the numbers on the screen.
There are a lot of games out there where you can do 5x9999 dmg crit combos, go play one of them.
Your ability to produce an analysis of the same basic mechanics in two totally contradictory ways in order to push your agenda is awesome.At ESO however content wont get old as there will always be people going through the older VR areas. ZO is doing good, its just that many don't realize this yet.

On the one hand you claim WOW's raids become "ghost towns" when higher tiers get released while in ESO the VR content remains active .
The situations are of course the same, you just ignore that, you also ignore the fact that your WOW statement is bollocks because the ILevel gating of tiers means people have to gear up in lower tiers in order to run the new content: JUST LIKE ESO.
Fact is those two statements can apply to both games, you just don't want to see it.
