500 isn't big enough? I don't recall the guild cap in wow, but 500 is pretty dam big.

WoW had a limit of 600 before they moved to 1000 per guild. An extra 100 players can make a huge difference, let alone an extra 500. If there is a performance issue for this, however, that would be a fair counterpoint. I don't know of one though.

I've been in 3 dead 500 member guilds. Increased member count won't guarantee a good guild, but it does reduce the likelihood of being in a useless guild.

I dunno, after I hit vet the game lost its lure. started a new char and class in a new zone and that was fun for awhile but now even that has fizzled out. i guess all things have its time

Instead of L2P, here we have a case of L2RQTAESFWSE.

Learn to read the quest texts and enjoy the stories, for the writing and storytelling is excellent! :D

I'd very much like to know about your previous game experience, @Grym_forum‌. Have you enjoyed playing any previous TES titles? Did you roam the lands and search in every nook and cranny, for there might be something interesting to find, or to see, even if it's "only" a story, or the beautiful view?

Or did you just jump on the "Hey, look, new MMO! I'm burning to repeat my 'first time in WoW' experience, I hope this one can give it to me" bandwagon, only to find that ESO does things differently? ;)

This game's writing for everything but the main and guild quests is pretty bad. Some of the dialogue is funny, but most of it is just that person telling you in a fancy way to do X thing 10 times. Not to mention some of the voice acting, especially in the Aldmeri Dominion, is cringeworthy. Some dungeons have journals next to corpses, or other things that tell you what happened there, but 95% of the time they are tied to a quest with a huge ass marker floating over them (you can turn this off, but then you miss most of the quests in town. Unless you talk to everyone, which is an awful idea seeing as how most of what they say is useless and uninteresting).

This game, apart from Cyrodiil (somewhat), has NONE of the exploration that makes a TES game good. I don't want my exploration incentive to be a Skyshard, the incentive should be me simply wanting to explore because what is out there in the world is interesting. I don't want a *** fetch quest tied to those journals I find in dungeons, I just want them to be there so I can read them and know the story of the place I'm in. This game ruined that. Everything I love about Elder Scrolls games is now either a gold sink, a quest, or simply not there.

So don't tell this guy to experience this game like an Elder Scrolls game, because it's not very good that way.

Please don't tell me how to tell others how to experience the game. :D

I can only tell about how I experience it, namely as an Elder Scrolls game with some sort of online component, and I can enjoy it immensely this way. You'll never know until you try. Unless you don't want to try, but that's everyone's prerogative. But hey, no pressure. :P

I did try, and the game failed miserably to support that attempt.
