No, don't make dungeon gear superior to crafted gear. Make it so that most classes/roles will want to get one set bonus from each, and having both is ideal.

    Disagree. It makes crafting pointless.

In a perfect world the highest quality gear would require dungeon drops and a dedicated crafter to actually turn the dungeon drops into something good. It makes no sense from either a gameplay or "realism" perspective to have the best gear on mobs.

Crafting already is pointless...everyone can do it...and the 8 trait sets are no better then 3 or 5 trait sets. The new set pieces look great but have no better stats then crafted. I'd say give us better stats on drops and extra trait spaces...meaning you can only improve at a 8 trait location and only add extra traits if you have fully unlocked the piece. In other words
Dungeon drop is a Legendary chest piece that has an uncraftable motif...you now save upgrade mats and stats are same has v12 crafted. You then goto earth forge because that is an 8 trait crafting location. The only way to add extra enchantments or traits is to have each piece 8 traits unlocked. But you only have 6 traits unlocked...so you can not improve that dropped chest piece until you unlock all 8 traits...you would have to pay a crafter to improve this item....or spend the time to unlock 8 traits. If you did have 8 traits unlocked you then have an option of adding 1 extra enchantment that could be stackable and 1 extra trait. Perhaps dropped pieces could have traits not found in game to make it more valuable. The added traits and enchantments would then boost the stats of the entire weapon to "unworldly". Or about a 10% damage increase.
