You haven't really said what you think the game is lacking. Just that you are bored.
They can't improve the game if they don't know what players want.
At a guess, I believe the gist of what the poster you quoted was - "@OP. So, you've said you don't really like the game. Yes and...?"If the hundreds of complaints and suggestions and long list of missing features found in these forums is no clear enough for zenimin (definitely not max) then the game should just shut down now.
The op is correct...there is no excitement in the game...no reason to rebuild a character to just be forced to play through repetitive content. No amazing boss fights with great loot waiting for you....The game offers no reward or incentive to keep drugging on through the same things over and over.
Sure change classes because I think we all agree the play how you want to play is actually play how we make you play.
Why are the forums filled daily with negitive posts? Easy....because there's so many more negitive things in this company then positive...people feel ripped off and disappointed about a beloved franchise that was Elder Scrolls.
Speak for yourself.Sure change classes because I think we all agree the play how you want to play is actually play how we make you play.

Plundering, looting, item-chasing, xp/level chasing is not a deep enough experience for me to want to continue to pay-to-play.

Sorry Zenimax.

That is the core concept of every MMO since the time of MUD's.Alphashado wrote: »Grym_forum wrote: »

I am struggling to imagine an MMORPG that isn't based around these core objectives.
If it is immersion/story that you are lacking, I can assure you that ESO is by far miles above and beyond most MMOs.
You think you're bored now? Wait till you hit VR12 and spend 2 unsuccessful hours trying to find a trial or dungeon group !

However, I do agree that guilds had a large part of keeping the game going after it started to decline. The great thing about being in a huge guild was that you could likely find someone who was willing to help you with whatever you wanted to do. It would be very wise for ZOS to reconsider the guild member caps. Even with the 5 guild setup, there is no substitute for having a huge active guild.

Learn to read the quest texts and enjoy the stories, for the writing and storytelling is excellent!
I'd very much like to know about your previous game experience, @Grym_forum. Have you enjoyed playing any previous TES titles? Did you roam the lands and search in every nook and cranny, for there might be something interesting to find, or to see, even if it's "only" a story, or the beautiful view?
1) ESO sadly is way more shallow than TES titles. I have most achievements done except some that require silly and boring repeating of the same content (like: kill 500 dolmens till the right boss spawns). Game did not last 1/100 of Skyrim for me.
2) Craglorn is a sad excuse for game design. I can sit for weeks asking for a group to do 4 men content, whereas legions and generations of players just grind one of Hircine | Anomalies | outdoor bosses. The same tanks and healers that don't ever reply to my "LF2M tank and healer" form a thick crowd in the grind, auto-invite groups.
