When are werewolves going to be fixed?

I have asked this many many times, but yet received no answer as to when they will be fixed into something fun to play. Why is ZOS avoiding answering this?

Just curious, what will it take to get some attention and response from ZOS on the horrible Werewolf situation?

Just my 2 cents, but ZOS has ignored this horrible, horrible, skill line for far too long. This should have been brought up to par with Vamps months ago.

They have forced anyone who wants to keep up to cure and go Vamp, or be miserable like some of us and keep WW maxed, but never being of any use, nor even making it on our skill bars.

Seriously, I ask, what does it take ZOS, to get some comment on this?!

I don't give two flips what moderators think, or if they ignore me. Its the devs, programmers, and higher that need to be aware of this kind of stuff. Mods are just paid flunkies who keep us forum trolls in line and delete posts when they fall outside of the guidelines. Way back when (during everquests heyday) I used to be a forum mod, and I can tell you that none of the upper people in the company gave a rat's butt about what went on in the forums. PLayers were looked down upon by people like Brad McQuaid, as "They have no idea what they want, I know what they want" was the mentality.

I'm all for fixing Werewolves. At least issue some fix to break CC and block properly as a WW. Block does work at times but it's sketchy, however the CC Break does not work whatsoever, you just have to wait until it's over before you finish killing off your prey.

All I keep hearing from ZoS is "we are aware ww isnt performing as expected" and I see NOTHING from them regarding the situation. Just another thing to add to the list of "completely broken and not getting fixed at all". 6 months in now and ww is still a POS.
    Edited by c0rp on August 15, 2014 3:11PM
Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

SO your content to accept anything ZOS hands you? Never complain about things, just blindly smile and say "Thank you ZOS, for all you have given us" Sorry hun, I don't just roll over and play dead. When I am paying the company for a product and I feel its faulty, I say something. As you have pointed out (and others) I myself have made 4 posts about WW issues. How many ZOS replies have there been? Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. No word on when or what will be fixed. You go right ahead and be content with that. I'm not.

I work in system engineering...so I have ask, how are WWs supposed to work. I played through Skyrim and, to me, being a WW sucked. I was much more effective using my normal skills. Being a companion/werewolf just seemed gimmicky.

So how should WWs work? Should they be on par with Vampires? If so, why?

If you tell a systems engineer that something is broken, he's going to expect you to tell him how it should work and how that's different from the way it is currently working. You can't just tell a systems engineer "it's broken".

Because the sole purpose of the job is to identify the expectations of the customer and identify the requirement to develop software that meets those expectations.

Well hold on there, a 'system engineer' is a rather broad line of work. What kind of system is it exactly? A lan, network, PC, or could be a fire control system, or a lift and compact control system for a garbage truck. Any engineer that works on any type of system can call themselves a 'System Engineer' regardless of what kind if system it actually is.
I guess what actually bites my butt are those that throw out an unverified self comment that is designed to somehow bolster their viewpoint above others on forums. I never believe it and some of the most ridiculous comments have been made by so called lawyers, doctors, engineers, programmers, and executives.

Then frankly you must severely suck at your job. The customer here has identified whats broken at least 50 times in previous posts. The customer here has also offered many different versions of how to fix it in 20 or so prior posts. Yet your unable to reference any of this material and seem reluctant to go find it. Also unless your one of the programmers for ESO, you can't even do the second part of developing software to fix werewolves.
I find it rather funny you make the claim to be a system engineer, but even if you are in RL, its still pointless to say it here, as it gained nothing at all.

Actually system engineering is as broad as you stated but the job is still the same identify the expectations and define the requirements, it doesn't have to be specific to software. And that doesn't matter. If you thought I was trying to puff up and enhance my viewpoint...I'll point out that my viewpoint was to immediately ask "what do you want" "what do you expect"

Your concern about my statement if way off subject and just needs to be dropped. Focus. Werewolves Why? Werewolves How?

Actually the subject was "When will werewolves be fixed and why is ZOS ignoring it?" This was never a thread about whats broken, or how to fix it, so really you tried to take it off topic, and I just got caught up in replying to your off topic comments.

No, you've missed his point. That wasn't intended to bolster his viewpoint at all, it was intended to explain why he was asking how it should work and what was considered broken. It's a system engineer mindset (and a business analyst mindset, and a bunch of other jobs that I could list) to ask how it should be when someone says it's broken.

You created the thread, you should expect to explain how you think it should work rather than expect people to look for everyone's opinions on how it should work, and then assume that they'll pick out only the ones that you agree with. Yeah, a lot has been said about werewolves. A lot of different opinions and ideas about how they should work. If you're not prepared to say how you think it should work then your entire thread is worthless.

Research (poorly done, quickly done based on your threads)
You want WW form to last longer.
You want to use Devour more than once.
Ultimate bleed off (disappears), assume over time it drops. You want it to be indefinite? Or longer duration.

Are these changes consistent with TES werewolves, lore wise/concept wise? Are these planned changes stated by ZOS?

Again, you can buff and puff and blow my house down. But I can assure you will not get what you want unless it 1) Is actually considered a Bug or Design flaw. 2) You convey properly your expectations to the right people (not me)

Ok first off people dont seem to understand they are pushing content out fast every month is very good but still people complain. Even games like WOW do so every 3-6 months.

Werewolves are not "game breaking" and on there priority list would be on the bottom among with other things. Just because ZOS does not reply does not mean there not going to fix it. Everything takes time if you can't wait cancel your subscription.

I was under the original impression that the WW was supposed to be the counter to the Vampire with its focus on stamina rather than magicka as the 'fuel' for the class. I have a few issues with balance to the point of there not being a non-ww/vamp option. Basically my main is a Templar, and without being a complete Stendar smite the diseased daedric curse blah blah...I want an option too.

Anyway, I think one of the hurdles with WW skill line is the coupling with stamina, which has been a known build issue...people running around with sticks and robes rather than leathers and daggers.

One can hope there is a progression to continually work out the stamina build issues and then follow on with a reconsideration for the WW line and its effect on those builds.

They don't like it when you say that. They get visions of trips to the vet and usually end up chewing up your boots, marking your bed, or just generally wolfing out on you!
