Not dye. You are asking for paint.

Nope can't dye weapons, sure for a shield. Put your crest, colours etc but weapons would look wrong.

lol, when they bring in the justice system thieves guild NPC's should attack players with colours like this. If that doesn't sort them out, set the DB on them :P

I'm going to have to say, I don't care too much. If I was given the option, I'd probably use it.

However, I just don't really see the big concern or issue for it. As the second comment stated, if it was with only metallic colors, I wouldn't be completely against it. But coloring weapons all the colors of the rainbow just seems silly in my mind.

If they're going to go as far as dying weapons, they might as well just make it so you're able to see your weapon enchantments all together, that way, players don't have to look at a colored weapon, as it'll be coated with, fire, lightning, ice, disease, etc, etc. In my personal opinion, I'd rather have that, than the ability to be able to dye weapons.

I the think decision to dye armor in general, was because players had so many complaints about how the armor didn't represent what the actual thumbnail icon looked like, and being more noticeable than a weapon/shield, it gives players the options to make their characters a little more unique in a sense.

Again, I personally could cares less if it's added or not, and I'd probably use it, if given the option, but, it really doesn't seem like it's needed.

I really can't think of any reason to vote no for this.

When people are running around in pink armor... how could it really be a bad thing to also have a pink sword? I mean who cares?

Also, it bugs me to no end that my weapon colors don't match my armor...

SHIELD "YES", WEAPON "NO"

Shields: yes, with option to show guild emblem.

Weapons: no... or just allow metallic colours

you can use an electrical process to dye metal but I'm not sure how recent that is. I know with titanium, it can make a large variety of colors, which you can see in body piercings. Any of the colored metal piercings are like that.

Yes, but with limits, the pink swords everyone wants should be unattainable.

Since most shields were dyed since forever it only looks lore friendly to be able to add you guild crest or your alliance crest to the shield and have it use it's colors.

I actually find it funny to see numerous people with pink armors, but pink swords sound way too much.

Pink shields exist so... yeah love me some pink man
