Thank you for the memory leak fix, ZOS.

Not sarcasm. A legitimate "thanks" to the people who worked on today's hotfix for the memory leak issue that was plaguing so many of us.

I've been able to play for 5 hours today and the game didn't crash even once. Granted, I haven't been to Cryodiil yet to truly test it, but I don't PvP much yet.

RAM usage on my PC for eso.exe was sitting at about 2GB after 5 hours in the game, whereas before I could barely make it 2 hours without it spiking up past 3GB.

So once again, thank you, for your promptness in dealing with this.

Anyone else who had this problem now able to play crash-free?

Mine is doing better. I did see it climb from 2Gb to 2.3Gb which is odd for me but it did release it and the game went back down to 2Gb which is the norm for my game.

Yes a BIG THANK YOU to all that were responsible for this fix!! :)

I did Cyrodiil for about 2 hours last night. Before the hotfix I was hitting 3 gig in about 30 minutes of siege pvp. After hotfix, it probably averaged about 1.5 gig during the 2 hours. So yeah, seems fixed so far. Thanks!

I was able to play in Cyrodiil this evening for a good 3 hours without any problems. Was a joy not to crash or have lag for a change.

AMD dual core, 4gigs system memory, gtx750, still climbing into the low 3g range after a few hours. My cpu usage was significantly down and I can run true fullscreen with acceptable fps again now though.

I've never played in Cyrodil ( yet ) but I also never had a crash problem.
Is that because the memory leak was associated only with Cyrodil?
    If I wanted a Signature I would have a Signature --- but i don't want one so I don't have one.

Crashed after 2h in Cyro, tho the crash was different (just a "normal" Eso crash probably - which should be fixed after the beta..). Will check the RAM now.

No the memory leak wasn't only in Cyrodil. I have never played the PVP part of this game, PVE only for me currently. The players in Cyrodil experienced it more frequently than PVE players did for sure.

If you are still seeing the RAM usage increase to unacceptable levels even after the fix, make sure your game is set to your monitor's native resolution. I remember before the 1.3 update introduced the widespread memory leak, some people who had crashing issues were able to trace it to that issue that Windows has when you try to play a game in a different resolution than your native one.

3840x720 just like my 3x32" tvs want it. It is better but it still creeps.up.

Better to have it fixed after a week than not fixed at all, yes? I've been through hell with memory leaks in other MMOs before where the devs respond with "well we can't reproduce it on our end" - despite hundreds of people reporting it.

I'm overall happy with the rate they clean up the messes added content make. I just see the post with the official "we have a fix coming out..." has sank off the first page. I just wanted to say it made it better but it's still not quite where I was at shortly after early access. My second sub payment went through the other day and I'm confident I'm going to enjoy this game for another 3 months.

During one of these big memory leaks I did find I had a coincidental thing on my end. Any win7 users with a home network playing off a computer serving media to other PCs windows mediaplayer has a process that will eat ram seemingly only when ESO is running. Killed and disabled wmpntwrk or something like that in task manager and my lag was gone. I had to "view processes from all users" to see it in taskman.
