Honestly, summoned pets should just be disabled in cities. That would prevent people who are intentionally using their pets in banks and similar locations to annoy others, and it would also prevent people who simply forget to de-summon them.Jennifur_Vultee wrote: »Nothing worse than trying to get to the clothing station in Stormhelm and some one's pet spider bot won't let you through. As a mage who uses a Clannfear I try to remember he's back there and in situations where Bob might interfere with others like in buildings I do try to remember to put him away until I'm done. As the Argonian guard says in Shadowfen, "Proper behavior is like an egg that hatches good citizenship."
I have come to hate the Winged Twilights so much I refuse to use one. In the bank its common to find three or four mages with the Twilights out flapping and blocking your click on the banker. I've gone so far as to ask in local chat that they please de-summon them until they're done. In one bank I had to jump up and stand on one persons Clannfear to even get to the banker...I thought they might get the hint he was in the way but nope.

Trouble is, there are baddies in cities, and houses. My mage doesn't use pets, but I'd be unhappy tying to fight a baddie in town if you declared "no lightning in town!"
I hate the damn things, but turning collision off would cause less problems.
Oh yeah, that's true. Of course, collision isn't really the problem with the winged twilights - it's their flapping wings.traigusb14_ESO2 wrote: »Honestly, summoned pets should just be disabled in cities. When this happens hit escape twice, then you should be able to move normally. This has happened to me a few times, and this worked to let me move each time.Jennifur_Vultee wrote: »Sometimes, when using the wayshrine to zone in, I get stuck because of someone's pet. It makes me feel stabby.
This happened to me last night in Elden Root at the shrine. I warned the person to move the pet monkey then I reported them for griefing when they didn't...it was obvious the pet was positioned perfectly to block the landing point. I'm getting tired of this BS and I'm not going to put up with it anymore.
The only way we have to fight back against greifing is the report button, if a few get reported and banned for this it will send a message to the rest.
I got stuck on a pet at a wayshrine too the other day. There were so many people stacked up I eventually had to log out. I couldn't get free of it. I bug reported it but now that I know people intentionally do this, I'm going to start reporting it as abuse.
I also tried that and it didn't work, but hitting escape twice has worked for me in this scenario.Jennifur_Vultee wrote: »When this happens hit escape twice, then you should be able to move normally. The first thing I did was try to roll out of it at the shrine but, several times in fact, no animations worked not even jump...it seems you get stuck inside the pet's collision mesh and can't move out of it.

At the dye stations you don't see other characters while you're using it, so theoretically it shouldn't be difficult for ZOS to set it so that while you're at banks, merchants, crafting stations you don't see pets either.I do hope collision is fixed soon! In the meantime I suppose I will have to try roll dodging through doorways and escape keying at wayshrines.
But will we just have to live with the wings flapping in our faces at banks and crafting stations?

Of course, you can roll through the pets, but I don't think everyone realizes this.
That's true, but like I've said in this thread you can solve that without relogging by hitting escape twice. And that's a bug, whereas being able to roll through something that has collision turned on is intended functionality. Of course, when they fix it so that pets no longer have collision for friendlies, then hopefully that will fix the getting-stuck-in-a-pet-in-a-wayshrine bug.Of course, you can roll through the pets, but I don't think everyone realizes this.
You can't roll through the pets if you land on them using a wayshrine. You just get stuck, can't move/roll/anything, and have to totally relog. They either need to make pets unsummon inside banks and at wayshrines, or fix collision detection. Or both, the little flappy wings are annoying as is all the eeping and barking.

I want to kill all your pets, and I'm probably not the only one feeling murderous.

That word wasn't even as thing when you were in grade school unless you just graduated. As far as aduldhood, I'm 38 years old thank you very much.
I remember that word from when I was in grade school. Give us a call when you reach adulthood and learn how to antagonize someone that's insulted you indirectly.

I considered it when I was younger, but telling people to "seek professional help" just doesn't work as well when you are professional help.MasterSpatula wrote: »Dear OP, seek professional help. You may have Antisocial Personality Disorder. Or you may just be a bit of a ***.
Why yes I do Thank for noticing. Gee your know Maybe you should think of a career in Mental health.
i hate it when a sorc uses their pets to block entrance ways. i got stuck in a room till the afk'd *** got kicked. first time i understood why people have an afk timer.
