i hate it when a sorc uses their pets to block entrance ways. i got stuck in a room till the afk'd *** got kicked. first time i understood why people have an afk timer.

Not sure if the OP's intention is to actually do that, or to point out by trolling, that carelessly or intentionally bringing your friggin annoying pets everywhere (especially inside cluttered spaces) and thus blocking the way of other people should be a bannable offense. I for one am sick and tired of having to do acrobatics every day to exit the bank/use a crafting station. And while I do have a sorceress character too, I unsummon my pets whenever I enter a town, it's common decency.

Edit: Apparently he did just intend to do that, I should stop trying to find deeper meanings in everything XD

You know, I'm really glad I saw this around the same time I built a sorc character. I've always seen the clanfears & winged twilights crowding up banks but I now know that it's unnecessary. I try to remember to shut mine down unless i need them. It's like they're saying " look at me, I can summon pets", yeah, you and 10,000 other sorcerers.

On a small scale, this is a bit annoying. My concern is if players got together, they could actually trap others in rooms or buildings or just surround them out in the open, forcing them to teleport out to leave. For this reason alone, collision should be removed from all pets. In addition they should be auto de-summoned when entering most buildings in towns... especially banks.

Is it reportable if i summon both my pets and troll people by blocking the way through the gates in town? Its funny watching people get POed cause they cant get through. There forced to unmount their horse even.

You might not have made the thread to troll, but you flat out admitted that is what you want to do.

You won't get many who will tell you is isn't trolling or griefing. And yes, it is very reportable.

This happened to me last night in Elden Root at the shrine. I warned the person to move the pet monkey then I reported them for griefing when they didn't...it was obvious the pet was positioned perfectly to block the landing point. I'm getting tired of this BS and I'm not going to put up with it anymore.

The only way we have to fight back against greifing is the report button, if a few get reported and banned for this it will send a message to the rest.

If whether or not it's bannable if you do something to make other people's gaming experience miserable then I think you need to go see someone. Rules/Laws are not a system of morality... we all innately know what is right and wrong.

I have come to hate the Winged Twilights so much I refuse to use one. In the bank its common to find three or four mages with the Twilights out flapping and blocking your click on the banker. I've gone so far as to ask in local chat that they please de-summon them until they're done. In one bank I had to jump up and stand on one persons Clannfear to even get to the banker...I thought they might get the hint he was in the way but nope.

I got stuck on a pet at a wayshrine too the other day. There were so many people stacked up I eventually had to log out. I couldn't get free of it. I bug reported it but now that I know people intentionally do this, I'm going to start reporting it as abuse.

When this happens hit escape twice, then you should be able to move normally. This has happened to me a few times, and this worked to let me move each time.
