If your game is crashing and you are a VM customer chances are its VM fault and not game. Having had another bad session of crashing I spoke for the 5th time to a VM engineer tonight who confirmed there is a network issue that's been ongoing for over 2 weeks and that it will cause small interrupts and your game will either lag or crash. He said hopefully it will be fixed by the 19th of this month.

    Seconded, I've had a hell of a time with them over the last week, got to the point where I gave up trying to play for a couple of days and loaded up Skyrim again.

    Constant dropouts and disconnects plus the internet went off at 11pm every night and didn't come back on till morning.

    After many phone calls and arguments it was sort of stable last night so we may be getting somewhere.

    Their customer service is awful though.

    Virgin media sucks. I had prblems last couple of months. They were adament there was no problem. It was only through googling that I found loads haveing crashing/disconect/slow loading of web pages. As soon as I am out of contract I shall leave. However no idea which net provider to go with. I want one that is reliable and that prefrebly has the customer support and tech support within the UK. Not being racist, but overseas call centers are so annoying and you never get anywhere.

    I've had no problems playing this game (or any other) through VM. I'm still using the old-style modem rather than the newer Super Hub or whatever it's called.

    As I understand it you can avoid their overseas call centre staff according to the time of day you call and also by asking for second tier support which means they pass you back to someone in the UK.

    I too play on VM without problems. I agree their first-tier CS in India (or wherever it is) is utter garbage but their UK-based staff are pretty good in my experience.

    I'm with VM for almost 6 years now and never had any complains, especially broadband is super reliable, been playing several mmo's during this time and never even a one issue, maybe the reason is that since start I'm always on the fastest option?

    I'll add that this is the first time I've had trouble with them, service is normally great and speeds are normally in excess of the stated 120Mb quoted.

    It was my first taste of their customer service with a fault though, hells teeth what a carry on and it seems they're quite happy to lie through their teeth to get you off the phone.

    It's left me with a sour taste in my mouth and I'm seriously thinking about switching.
