According to Nala, who knows everything about EP, a guild who could barely field 8 members half way through the campaign single-handedly won Wabba 1.0.

I hate to agree with Nala, but Nicolle and Fixxate’s group destroyed EVERYONE for the first 2 months of the game; I don't really think anyone can debate that.

... yeah no offense, and not to brag, but nice guys came specifically to wabba hearing about better action and competition, and we crushed condemned, badly, so i dont think you mean "everyone". jussayin.

Yeah, I think were talking about 2 different things. I meant that Condemned knew about how to destroy massive groups of people because of their knowledge of game mechanics. Nicolle was the first person to popularize negates on big groups (and back then negate wasn't AOE capped), and everyone in their guild spammed oils before most people even knew how to use them properly. Not to mention how strong emp and bats was back then, they use to camp AD by the gates for hours at a time when I first started.

ahhh yeah i see, and fully understand their zerg farming, props to them. zerg farming is good.

im most happy that vesir finally made a forum account.

    worth it, lol

They were definitely the masters of zerg farming with oil pots and negates.

I miss being able to zerg farm *grin*

4 people doesn't zerg farm so good, 6 its ok, I truly think ya need 8.

id agree, tho i think we did alright as 6. extending to funnel made it ok in many situations, and i feel like we still would have extended with 8.

im sure thecoolmom is ready to go bomb!

lol, plz post your screenshot of fixxate or nicolle saying vokundein won wabbajack. ill give you 5 min to post it before i expect you to say, "oh it was on my other computer and i lost it reformatted and my dog ate it sry, but im srs they did say that"

If you're going to quote someone you should get it right. Anyways, back to the topic and that is Thornblade.

while back on topic, there is still no one in this thread that can name a single person in vokundein except for adonikam.

To be honest, I had no idea who was in alacrity until someone mentioned it a few pages ago.

They really need to show Guild Tags in pvp

seriously. the tabbards are great and all but... i too had no idea who alacrity was until a couple pages ago.

whats the deal with tags? are they too immersion breaking? Ermagerd! Muh Emurshun!

ESO does not have a good system in place to know who you're fighting or what guilds are on the battle field. It would be nice if they introduced death spam by location. Say you're at Ash, you would see death spam of who killed who (killing blows) in that area. It would be nice if I was in a keep to see another guild's death spam in zone chat to know we are getting ready for some good fights.

Doesn't mean much.. It is just people on the leaderboard like everyone else. Few of us run with IR more now because we are split as a guild on what people do and don't like about PVP. Not everyone is a fan of the blob mentality.

so your zerg guild decided to blob and the quality players left that guild? good for them!

They left the guild? I didn't know that. No, most of us run small groups like 3 or 4. Your small group kills 30 to 40 right? I think we kill 31-41.

I know that people enjoy trolling in the forums but it would be nice to give some respect to all the EP players who devote themselves 20hours a day sometimes to win this campaign. Maybe you haven't seen them much on the battlefield, maybe you would like to fight them in an open field, maybe you are pissed of sorcerers spamming familiars, but please just take a look at top100 overall for a moment.

Tell me how many EP players you see in there. 17 players. How many players you see in the top40 templars? 5 players. Now, who is first in points? EP. Why? because one single guild have members who spend their whole days and nights doing objectives and carrying their faction. My point is, please, try to be nice to them and give them some credit even if you never heard about them before.

Imperator Rebellium and Vokundein aren't zergy guilds. Proof is, most of the time when I participate into their pvp events, we crush entire opposite faction population in a matter of seconds outnumbered 5 on 1. We just use our knowledges of the mechanics as best as we can. The reason why you don't see us often in an open field is because we got used to getting double team and we are often forced to defend south and west at the same time. Can't risk open field battles.

Personally, I think that No Mercy is the biggest challenge we had so far, followed by DiE and Alacrity. EG is not that hard to beat when server isn't lagging. They are great scroll runners though.

Respect comes from values. If you value small group fights those are the people you will respect. If you value objetive oriented gameplay, those are the people you will respect. I personally enjoy a good balance of everything. You can't execute strategies or play the objectives (conquer territory, earn points, take scrolls) unkess the team is skilled and coordinated, trainned on efficient tactics in big and small groups. But that is not all to me, the way the team handles defeat and comes back from it, or uses it to get a victory, is as important in my book.

Yesterday was a great example of what is fun to me and to most people in Vokundein. We wipped zergs, fought hordes of DC in glademist outnumbered with pretty much no deaths for a good while with a team of 24 until they finally wiped us. Then we pushed for Warden scroll keeping the fight in enemy territory. DC had a fast reaction and overwhelmed us at Warden too, and we moved on from there Saving chalman and keeping up the good fights. No fear to face bigger numbers, no fear to lose a battle. We fight other organized groups toe to toe, sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, it is what competitive means. That is what brings great fights and also results to our faction. EP came out on top and we remained there, and we will keep working. That is what I care about, that mindset is what got EP to turn the tides and win Wabba 1.0. We lost Wabba 2.0 because EP organized forces went on to value different things. AP and emperor farming, small skirmishes etc. So AD was superior on that round, and we had no time to turn te tides as they cut the campaign short. That is ok, cudos to AD for keeping it together more than EP in Wabba 2.0.

Now we have a close fight in Thornblade, and to me that is fun. I care about logging on and fighting all forces out there, random pugs, guild groups, big or small, I don't discriminate. We work with the EP and we aim for victory. We are a force to recon with and when we are out there in force we switch the tides of the campaign, EP players know that, and they work with us. All the e-peen stroking about who is actually skilled etc. I don't personally go for that, it means little in the end. I care about working with other EP guilds to have fun, and winning is fun. So far I think we're doing good, but it is a close battle, so let's keep working on it.
