Clearly these would alleviate much of the space problems. In addition it would also be good if maps would have a map case without costing inventory space.I seriously see absolutely NO reason for an increased bag space/bank space. HOWEVER, what I would love to see is some kind of collection window.
A trophy belt that would fit all your trophies without costing inventory space.
A pet case where it would fit all your pets without costing inventory space.
A Materials bank that only fits 1 stack of each item that is independent from our banks.
If those exist, you won't need any extra space.
The real problem is when you start ESO their is an overwhelming amount of crap especially materials and you are not sure what to do; some would say LTP but thats a bit unfair especially when its coming from people with well-fed horses, several bag/bank upgrades under their belt, and much of their research already done. Hopefully the upcoming provisioning changes will help a bit; but they really need to make some or all of your suggestions.
Note that I said "ESO database can't handle it" I did not say it could NOT be done. But DB design is a serious specialty and judging by a number of issues they have had and continue to have my guess is the current DB isn't up to adding major capacity. Its not just the space; its accessing/modifying that information quickly/correctly.Sad to say but no - the ESO database clearly can't handle it.
This is amusing anytime somebody brings this up. Ever heard of Amazon? Ebay? Yeah? Same sort of databases and guess what they manage it just fine. ZOS is using the megaservers as an excuse for being lazy. There's absolutely NO technical reason why it can't be done. This is just artificial limiting.

Also remember during the first month there were those duping problems as well as problems with people losing slots/items. It took them months of increase the size from 20 to <whatever> for runes and it looks like they did that wrong. There is something really bad with the database design/implementation. I also think this is why they have steadily refused to have an Auction House.

its been clearly stated your not ment to pick up ever item in the game, considering that most of items that fill up the bank slots are provisioning items, select items for either cooking or brewing,, not both.. that way ull c u have plenty of space, especially if ur using the items to craft rather than stocking them for no reason.

Except it's been clearly stated numerous times and advertised that we can "Play as we want".
No one forces you to engage in -every- tradeskill and hoard -all- materials.
Some investment and discression is a good thing.
There is plenty of bag space, if you pay for it.
I know this is a sore issue with some people but for the love of Jode can we get some additional bank / bag space ?
Obviously people are screaming out for more space and I'm sure most would willingly pay (in-game currency) for additional space. So basically its a win-win situation. We get additional storage space and Zenimax get another gold sink for the economy !

I love the fact that you can leave items in your bank and still use them for crafting. My concern is, I guess I horde to much of everything since I’m crafting everything, and run out of space really really quick. Is there away to fix this, or should i simple just keep selling my mats and make low level items to makes space?
Paul Sage:
I would say you are going to have to make some choices about what you keep and what you don’t. Bank space / inventory space is another limiter to being able to work on all crafting skills at once. It isn’t impossible, it is just harder if that is what you choose to do.”

I agree and it should handle it but look at the guild bank - why won't it load 50% of the time even during low population hours when nobody else is using your particular guild bank. But it can handle 7 ALTs each with a horse maxed out for carrying stuff and max bag space, right? Don't kind yourself, there is no issue adding more bag or bank space. It can be done, and I see no reason it shouldn't be done, so long as prices continue to increase as before.
Would I use it? Nope. Would I use a higher item stack limit (i.e. > 100), yup. Would that cost the database anything? Nope.

I would like siege equipment to be considered for such a change as well, but that does fall under the "consumable" category.

I know that has been stated on many occassions but its BS since all of your characters share a bank; if we had a character stash as well as a shared bank ... it would be different.Nazon_Katts wrote: »ZOS stated one of the reasons for the rather low bag/bank space was to limit crafting professions on one character.

This would solve the problem.I've said this before and I'll say it again. What we need is shared bank space and character bank space. Easy and would give each character 70+ spaces.

Then you can upgrade their horses too. I run 4 alts for my main. My main and 1 alt have maxed bags and horse inventory. Bank isn't maxed and other 3 alts are only at 80 or so bag space. Plenty of room.

If they fix it you won't see it come up anymore.NerfEverything wrote: »No, stop asking. This will never change. We don't need to see the same thread every couple days.
