PvP Notifications in PvE

mtaff072b16_ESO
Could someone help me out here please.
Since the new patch I am getting PvP notifications (flag dropped, picked up etc) appearing on my screen whilst I am outside Cryodil.
I can't find a setting anywhere to turn this off.

Anyone have a clue?

Has this ever been fixed. I have the same problem now.

Are you sure it's a problem? I like having the notifications. It lets me know when to go to Cyrodiil.

There should be an option to turn them off, not force us to keep them on.

    Yeah I see them occasionally.
"Elder Scroll has been blah blah blah'd!"

Should be an option to turn this off atleast.

The most annoying part is it's HUGE, it's bigger than the announcement about server going offline for maintenance announcement. Yesterday I was in the dungeon and I received notification literally every few seconds about a freaking scroll being dropped or picked up by someone... Is this really necessary?

Where's the setting to turn these alerts off when not in PvP?

I think the intent was to try and instill some alliance pride so that when you see those alerts you think "holy **** they stole our scroll, lets go help" - Similar thing in DAoC

Honestly it doesn't happen that often, seems a non issue.

There should always be options for notifications... I frequently get "Your guildmates have completed <insert trial> in <insert god-awful time>." I don't care unless I'm running that particular trial and would love to have an option to control which notifications I get.

I like having the PvP notifications onscreen. :)

But i absolutely hate the Craglorn trials ones. In my opinion both of these should be optional!

Yep it's annoying. Sure sometimes I'd like to know, but when I'm doing stuff that I wouldn't leave to go PVP anyway, then I'd rather disable that feature. When I'm in the mood to hop into PVP soon, then yeah I'd leave them on. The option should be there.

Annoying other players is against the code of conduct under the rules about causing grief. PvP notifications in PvE show us another example of bad design choices by this game's developers. Players in a different alliance should not be given tools to grief an entire player population. As currently implemented, just by picking up and then dropping a scroll on a PvP map, over and over again, one player can force non stop notifications that interrupt and detract from other players enjoyment of the game. I'd really like to see this issue fixed by implementing a simple setting that allows players to disable these notification.

Heh, somebody was doing this to us the other day. On the bright side, it annoyed us enough that we did zerg into that campaign to swarm upon the culprit, so the final 'xxxx has dropped the scroll of such' notification was pleasant.
