You can expect activity in all three factions coming with this merger. Tons of RP events taking place, including but not limited to- IC cyrodil hunts, group dungeon runs, new story arch for guild as a whole, new ranking coming soon, and much much more!
The merger has begun. By uniting under one banner, we are truly becoming a dark force to be reckoned with "she says with a wicked smile and a soft cackle"
Hello, I applied for the clan yesterday and I want to start out by stating that I in no way am criticizing the response time from you all on the applications. I was wondering, though, I see no mention of an estimated wait after application and before approval/denial--is there any estimate that could be given, even if only tentative? Obviously there are many applications and they have to be reviewed and decided on by an admin on their own time so I wasn't expecting to hear back from anybody for at least a week, and I still do not expect anything with this post. By all means, take your time and don't think that looking for my application and making a decision on it soon will affect the way I feel about this guild. I am simply looking for an answer to a question that I'm sure many others who want in may be thinking. This is not for my benefit, but rather, the benefit of all.
We try to get back to applications as soon as possible. Part of that, though, is trying to reach out to people in-game. Our main officers are on in the evenings EST (though this is something we're hoping to resolve with the merger as well) so sometimes schedules don't mesh and we miss each other for a few days. In general, though, if you haven't heard from us in three days then we have probably tried to reach out to you and been unable (unfortunately this is often because of a mis-spelled username on the guild application).
So, if you haven't heard from us check on the site. Our site is based on Guild Launch so we can send you PMs before accepting you into the guild...but if you don't log into the site, you don't get a notification about it. The next few days are an exception to this. With the merger going through we're really busy so it might take an extra day or so to get back to you (but we're still trying to keep the response time as short as possible).
Thank you for the thorough explanation Sharundabald I have just applied, but I am happy to be patient. I'm on Australian time as well, so I might not be on at the same time as your officers until the weekend - but you can send me an in-game mail to get in touch if you need & I will respond.
Thanks again @Amiira (aka Namastii)
Thank you for being explicit both in general and in the short upcoming time frame. Only after I applied did I also find out there is a merger going on, which I'm sure would have delayed response times. As I said before, I really wasn't expecting anything for at least a week so its alright if you all need to take time to get back to me, I'm actually extremely patient. I just want future applicants to be able to see somewhere that there is a tentative response time, in case they get worried they haven't gotten a response. As I tried to state as well as I could in the previous message, my comment wasn't about me at all; it was meant for the benefit of all.
We welcome you to the Clan, and look very forward to seeing you soon young new blood. "The General smiles a soft grin, baring her teeth as she speaks her words."
I have taken a look through your website and like what I see. It would be nice to speak with someone from your clan before I start the application process. If someone has the time to contact me, that would be great. If not, you will see my application request soon.
Indeed, If you visit www.sharmatar.com you can put in your application Pantherian. Make sure you post your name exactly as it is spelled so we can make contact with you in-game. From there, we will briefly speak with you and make sure you will be happy here! After that, you are invited to the guild and accepted on the site. So basically, in a nutshell: Apply, invite, accept. Look forward to hearing from you!
I filled out the application on the guild site and Solandis Valaaren will be around in the evening and overnight hours usually to talk to someone from the guild.
Please everyone, make sure you spell your ID correctly on the application. If you don't spell it correctly, we have no way of contacting you. Thank you :-)
I'm sorry I haven't been around the last couple days, I work nights. Should be around starting Thursday. Should be spelled correctly, but in case I typoed, it is Solandis Valaaren in game.
That depends on the day. We are definitely active in-game though. Most days there are an average of 70-80 online throughout the day. And more will be joining back once school starts back for them.
Sounds great. I've read that you are primarily Aldmeri Dominion based. I am in the Ebonheart Pact though. Not sure how that will affect things like story and meet ups etc.
We actually have a few other members in each faction, and more of us AD side are making alts on the other factions. What we've started doing is meeting up in Cyrodil so all faction members within the guild can participate. There is a strict no kill rule, and so far its been working out quite well.
The general rp itself happens in the guild chat, therefore it doesn't matter what alliance you are. But for events and face-to-face in-game RP we meet up in cyrodil :-)
I hope you don't mind me inquiring, but is Clan Shar’matar open to characters of all levels?
I had a Sorc-WW I made during the first few days of Early Access and after just rushing through content (and getting bored with end-game) I thought I'd remake her and play through more slowly and with a purpose. ♥
