So after reading some of the threads I can see that there are lots of players wanting to be able to kill cats and shoot children in ESO. But I think it would be clearer with polls showing player preference.

    If people are able to kill cats, next thing you know they'll be wantin' to kill the dogs. Then if they can kill the dogs, they'll be wanting to kill the horses. I draw the line at killing horses. So to prevent it from ever getting that far, it's best to just not make cats killable.

    And as for killing kids... that's just wrong. I don't care if they are just pixels.

    Kill children is just stupid. Anyone that wants to do that needs their head examined, seriously. Cats and dogs? Whatever, but to make this such a big deal, I wonder how crazy some of the players really are.

    Just play the freakin game. We have so many other things to get changed and fixed. We don't need you crazy people putting more on their plates right now.

    They won't allow killing of children no matter what. Half the countries they sell this game in would ban the game or rate it so bad that no one would be able to buy it.

    And why kill the cats? Isn't there enough to kill?

    Im on my phone, and accidentally hit the the link above this one, the "forum structure" made by ZOS. For a second when I saw "ZOS_AlanG" I thought this was an official poll from Zenimax, and very suprised.
    As for the poll, I want none of these things. I dont want to beable to kill cats. I want an option to hoard them when the player housing is introduced. Once you get 200 cats, you get the disease "Toxoplasma Gondii", http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_Cat_Lady_Syndrome ,which will grant the "crazy cat lady" skill tree. There will also be an option to hoard children, and use them as child labor in an illegal skooma manufacturing sweatshop. Kinda like a morally corrupt version of hirelings.

    They don't use black vans anymore. They use horrifyingly error prone airborne drones. You will be briefly spied upon, then the house 3 units down from yours will be accidentally blown up.

    I honestly dont care about the whole cat thing , they are animals just like any other , we kill them for food and many other reasons , but since some seem to hold them in high regards, then better just keep them alive also.

    Killing kids is always wrong , doesnt matter if it is just a game or not.

    The fact that some even compare cats to kids is already ridiculous to me.

    I only kill the hostile (red border) NPC's that are trying to kill my character.

    I seriously doubt that a child would pose that type of threat.

    But hey, you know if a kid in ESO was coming at me and attacking me unprovoked, then yeah, my character would defend themselves.

    I wouldn't go out of my way to attack and kill a kid NPC though. Just like I don't go out of my way to attack and kill neutral (yellow border) NPC's.

    I prefer to think that they are really good at separating fantasy from reality instead of thinking they are cereal killer material.

    Haha. Its weird that they're eating fruit loops on what appears to be a fine china plate thats sitting out in some grass. But I guess trying to understand cereal killers is to go mad yourself.

    If we can kill the cats we better be able to kill the dogs and horses too. And I'm in favor of being able to kill all three. Heck, to dismount a rider isn't it actually the horse your killing, since it's the horses "stamina" that controls dismounting the player?
