Weapon-swap bug

Neferath✭✭✭@Seravi and @bttlsgtmajor_ESO try to exchange your weapon setup. If for instance you are using the dual swords at bar one and the bow at bar two, place the swords and their skills at bar two instead and the bow + skills at bar one.
Doing so, completely solved my weapon swapping problems.0 -

My V1 is so messed up she is unplayable right now. I can respec and not add ONE single skill to my skills bar on either weapon and I can hit a 1-5 key and fire off a totally random skill. It's even worse when I DO add skills back in. I never know what is going to fire off as a skill when I hit a 1-5 key. It may be the skill intended, a skill from weapon #2 skill bar or a skill I don't have on the skill bar. 1 -
Seravi✭✭✭✭✭Yeah I really wish this worked for me. Helped some folks in Coldharbour this morning with a boss and after the second fire of my staff everything went south. I suddenly had my sword and board in my hands yet I was still on the staff skills bar using sword skills.
Then it all got mixed up and I shot off things I didn't have selected. I fear my V1 vamp is toast and will need to be retired due to this mess. I can't finish the main quest because of this. I depend on my setup and when you are taking on the end game boss, random garbage is NOT what you need flying around trying to deal with the boss.
I can remove all weapons from the slots, respec, log out for over an hour and log back in. Regardless of what I load as a weapon it will still show my original setup, staff and sword/board. I loaded a bow and got a staff, loaded a dagger and got the sword and board. Even adding weapon enchants doesn't update. They are added as I cannot add anything else to the weapon but it doesn't reflect the enchant on the weapon. So I have now started a new character that I fear will need to become my primary and retire my faithful vamp gal as she is too valuable to delete. She is maxed on smithing, clothier, provision, woodworking, alchemy and enchanting.Edited by Seravi on August 11, 2014 10:29AM0 -
Lancillotto✭✭✭My VR4 Sorcerer currently suffers from an annoying weapon-swapping bug. Switching from weapon #1 to weapon #2 will be fine, but then weapon #2 will remain locked in place and only the ability bar will swap. In other words, if I switch from DW #1 to Destruction Staff #2, the Destruction Staff will lock in my character's hands and further weapon swapping will only switch between the ability bars and not the actual weapon.
Logging out in Ability #1 (even if holding Weapon #2 because of bug) will return Weapon #1 upon relog. But attempting a weapon swap will again result in the bug. The bug ONLY seems to affect swapping from Weapon #1 to Weapon #2.
It is very annoying.
I have the same problem with my DK sometimes. I have a 2h sword (in slot 1) and sword&board (in slot 2), and on random occasions when swapping weapons I see the skill bar change, but the weapons are not replaced (yes, the slots are correct, so what other people said above doesn't always solve the problem). This looks especially weird because I see my character holding a 2H sword as if it was a 1H sword, or he holds sword & shield as a two-hander...
Interestingly, I am the only one who sees that glitch, other players see me as if I had the right weapon equipped.

john29✭I am having similar issues. Especially during second boss AA I get stuck on weapon 2 and can't switch back to 1.0
