Two Questions - Character Deletion and In World User name change

Hello ESO!!
I have been away from the game for about three months now and I ready to rock and roll! Just a couple question I have though after logging in yesterday:
When did they start limiting the number of characters we can delete? And why? The reason I ask this is I am really wanting to start fresh in the game and would only like to have two characters.
Is it possible to change my in game user name? My in game name is xxxinAustin and well, I moved from Austin (the main reason I haven't logged in a while). Would that be possible? Or would I end up wiping out my friends list.

nvsg✭✭✭what ? if your asking if you can delete a character with the name you want and create a character with the name you want then yea you can0 -
Rhoric✭✭✭✭✭Character deletes are limited to 3 in a 24 hour period. So if you use up all 3, you will get 1 back after a day i believe and another after another day and so on. As for your login/user name, you can send a ticket to CS and see as I don't think they do that anymore.0
