Just want to point out that the only way to actually win Thornblade is for your faction to have more points at the end of 30 days. Those points are generated by taking and holding keeps, scrolls and other large objectives that the "zerg" are much more equiped to do.
The "zerg" contributes more to the faction than the small man. The small elite groups have their place and they contribute but in the things that matter to the "scoring" of this game numbers trump all.
Now I mostly solo do I contribute, sure, do I contribute as much as a "zerg" or small man? No, could I win in a 1v1 against the guy that leads a "zerg"? Possibly, would that make me the better player? No, within the parameters that Zenimax has set up to determine a winner and a loser that"zerg"leader is doing far and away more to win than I am. So using that as our standard he is the better player.
The problem with some, certainly not all, elite players is it becomes all about them. Some of these guys are like the player on a basketball team that is all about getting his points, the team winning is of secondary concern. The attitude is I'm going to get mine if the team wins great if not <shrug> but I got mine. Going to show my age here.....Wilt Chamberlain 14 years played 7 scoring titles 2 NBA championships.......Bill Russell 13 years played 0 scoring titles 11 NBA championships.....No doubt Chamberlain is the most talented of the two but who is the better palyer?
With all that said play the way you want to and enjoy just allow others to do the same. Man we should be glad that there are people willing to lead these large groups of players and make them comfortable in RvR It helps to maintain a good healthy population base.
Damn you all for compelling me to write more in this one setting than I've written in totality for the last 20 years and in a video game forum at that
Ignore the creaking and popping you here from my knees as I now step off my soapbox.

since the end of campaign rewards are literally worthless, i see no reasons to take keeps or scrolls unless farming.
you remind me of the Faction Pride crowd of roleplayers who want to take keeps back for king arthur or whatever. FOR ZE REALM!
pfft

Thanks for validating my point.
Well I don't really role play but yea that's pretty accurate. If I play a team "sport" I put the team first don't know any other way to do it. Thanks for pointing these things out you have more clearly highlighted our differing points of view than I ever could.
One last thing, with you having made it abundantly clear that your only motivation is a self serving one why should anyone listen to or for that matter believe anything you say in regards to the direction of or well being of this game?

just curious. why have you decided to ignore the sig function to sign the first letter of your name to a post? you realize that we see your name at the top of the post right? its not like by the end of your post we are like "whoa who wrote this? i wish they included a sig!"
no offense, just wondering

Lol, 12 man zerging. Hahahaha. This whole whole argument about zerging his just a laugh. Considering the best players In this game are running around with a 12 to 16 man most of the time if not more they are far from a zerg.
You can live you daoc fairy land all you want this isn't a 8man group game. This isn't a 1v1 or a arena game either it's a large scale war and all the best teams and players understand that, this is is what matters in Pvp.
Now assuming you guys are blue, I might wrong because most people only know you as a troll on here, but when it comes to cyrodill your not a presents, so it's funny you argue with people like guys from no mercy or barbie that have way presents on the battlefield then you and your crew.

12 is zerging in this game, But I don't consider it remotely terrible compared to 24.
and you sir, are a [snip] for assigning negatives to large groups in a game specifically designed for large groups
a group of 24 is 'terrible'?? ROFL!!!!
D.
terrible in this context is completely subjective. I could claim that soloers are terrible too, with equal validity.
Ok, your definition is entirely subjective in this context.

p.s. to help you stop scratching your head trying to figure out what a gripper is - a gripper is a wankers who is too stupid to move his hand
If you need a group of 24 people, Yes..You are terrible.

I never said it wasn't subjective. If you think 24 people running around together are the greatest players in the world, by all means..continue to believe that. I'm sure you'll have plenty of fans asking to sign your mousepad rofl.

they are great at team work. they have better social skills. see how subjectivity works?

We absolutely suck at both offense and defense. DC walked all over us during their recent march to their latest emperorship as people ignored calls to bolster our defenses at Alessia. I was ashamed of EP tonight.
you seemed to misunderstand that by continuing to spew anti zerg screeds.
