There are 17 known Deadric planes to go to (plus thousands of unknown ones) and also there are the 8 Aedric planes where the "good" Gods live and thousands of unknown ones. Each star in the night sky was made by a "God" who left before they finish making Nirn and they still have most of their power left too.
They are many ways to add content with out breaking lore.
Well I definitely think an epic battle will work. However, I'm tired of fighting Dragons. It's overdone. Undead and Demons are close to being overdone also.
Let's find a different epic battle.

That's why it says or some other epic battle, the dragons were just an example, I'm sure there are numerous creatures that could be used, I just was suggesting a massive battle that would take a sizable group to defeat.

I would really like to see something like this implemented into ESO, the fights were great and sometimes even getting to the dragons was a battle in itself, maybe there are no dragons in this time period, I'm not sure, but if not maybe some other kind of epic battle that would take a sizable group to defeat with maybe some special loot you can only get from said encounter.
Dragons were mythic in the era this mmo is set in. Its over 1000 years before skyrim, when dragons resurface because of the events in that game. Previously there had been a war with the dragons, an uprising by humanoid folk against the dragon overlords and their dragon-priest allies. Those events virtually destroyed the dragon population. Reducing them to a very insignificant number to the point where they became very endangered and shunned humanoid races because of dragon hunters. In this era there are probably no more than 15-20 dragons across the whole world, all hiding in forgotten places, retreating from any humanoid creature or other aggressors and never entering combat, hunting for prey secretively. It was very hard for dragons. And they would go on to spend the vast bulk of the time between ESO and skyrim, re-populating.

Oh and if you think they didnt put an art model in this game for Dragons...you are seriously in need of some sense.
you're right, they are just going to smash lore to pieces and that would be a great design decision.
not really. There are creative ways to do it without breaking the lore. I wouldnt be so linear about it. A number of quest send you to different time periods in this game and one even takes you to a "what if" future about a girl....
Hell yeah. Kraken! Old school FF online. haha i remember those boat rides when somebody fished up a Kraken and it slaughtered everybody on deck!
No thanks, no dragons. Would break lore completely.

I can't take anyone seriously when he starts his thread by talking about other games and how ESO should look like them, sorry, nothing personal.

Also the game is designed in a way for old hardware to play it ok, these fights would be content that alot of players would not be able to do.

MrDenimChicken wrote: »Don't necessarily need dragons, but some sort of awesome world bosses like those dragons from DAOC would be absolutely awesome. And if they dropped ability respecs like from DAOC, than people would flock to them. Only issue here is how often would they spawn...cause in DAOC they spawned once a week for 1 server, which was a good length for that many people. But this game has that mega server with people phasing in and out so I don't know how you would space it or implement it.
There where dragons alive & prolly active in 2nd Era, just because current lore says "Nobody knows where they where" it doesn't mean there is no room for there.
http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/MirmulnirHe was last seen in the Reach in 2E 212[1] and didn't show up again until 4E 201

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/AhbiilokAhbiilok was a dragon that survived extermination during the Dragon War and the Akaviri crusades of the First Era.
Sightings date back to the early years of the Akaviri Dragonguard throughout the northern Jerall Mountains. Multiple attempts were made to kill him, but all failed. He was reported to have fled to Morrowind.
Eat that you "No, not in Lore" people.
I bet we'll eventually have an End Game raid with dragons.
