Other than needing to grab the pinions to release the anchor, have I missed something special about them? Or, was the point that he left you to do the anchor while he ran around and stayed out of trouble?
There is an achievement based on the number of pinions you've grabbed. Not sure if there's any other reason to care about getting them. Maybe they give you fighter's guild XP?lordrichter wrote: »It was a relatively tough dolmen for two...storm atronachs kept spawning, and he more or less left me to it while he grabbed pinions. I could not disagree more with this. If I'm in a PUG and I'm doing a bad job at my role, I want people to give me suggestions on how to do better. As long as you're not being a jerk about it, I'll pay attention and try to adjust my play based on the feedback. That's how I've developed my tanking skills to the point where I think I'm fairly decent at it (although I've definitely still got more to learn, so I'm still open to more feedback). If you just silently leave, how am I going to figure out what to do better?timidobserver wrote: »3. There is no way of telling someone that they fail that is going to go over well. Just silently leave groups with tanks that fail and your probably will be solved. If you choose to vent your frustration by say something, even if you say it nicely, you accept that the person is probably going to get insulted and respond in anger.

I think the point is that a lot of people won't tell you what you're doing wrong because they have no idea what you're doing wrong and for the most most part even if they DO think they know what you're doing wrong, they're wrong. I have not done it since, and I will help people if they are fighting by nodes I want, afterwards I will race to get the node though.
