so it still ties in to the "play your way" issue. good to knowxsorusb14_ESO wrote: »Nope.. the problem is the vast number of bads not running crit resist on their gear.

I'm running Impenetrable on my gear, and I still get hit for 300-400 from the Impulse groups. I have over 700 of the stat.

Step 1 ... gear out a Sorc in massive amounts of crit and spell power
Step 2 ... fraps rolling over bad people in pvp who are not running impenetrable
Step 3 ... cut off multiple fights vs more than one person after the first person dies because you have either low health or low magicka or both
Step 4 ... refer to overload attacks as just 'light attacks' ignoring the fact that it cost ultimate or that it is impossible to weave other instant skills with it like normal light attacks or that you can't keep your block up while using it
Step 5 ... profit?
I should not have to use a trait I don't want all because of one ability.xsorusb14_ESO wrote: »NookyZooky wrote: »so it still ties in to the "play your way" issue. good to knowxsorusb14_ESO wrote: »Nope.. the problem is the vast number of bads not running crit resist on their gear.
You play your way and run around butt naked...playing your way doesn't mean you're going to be effective.

that's true. I still wont use impenetrable(I like having reduced sprint speed, helps when ruing away:)) but I cant deny the truth in thatPancake-Tragedy wrote: »NookyZooky wrote: »I should not have to use a trait I don't want all because of one ability.xsorusb14_ESO wrote: »NookyZooky wrote: »so it still ties in to the "play your way" issue. good to knowxsorusb14_ESO wrote: »Nope.. the problem is the vast number of bads not running crit resist on their gear.

If you aren't using impenetrable on your gear by now, then you are only gimping yourself. It isn't due to "just" one ability, impenetrable pretty much nullifies crit builds.
