    Yup. Balanced.

Streaking sorc using overload and spell crit pots hitting 900+ light attacks - nothing wrong with that.

Templar with spell crit pots can expect over 400 in light attacks. Try hitting eclipse on a sorc doing what's in the video and laugh at their deaths.

um..... ok...... I don't know if you are trying to show off, but pretty much every sorc with a staff(which is quite a lot of them) do this.

The problem is that light armor is overpowered when combined with all the other skills available in this game.

Why they decided to make all class abilities spells and cost Magicka is beyond me.

They won't be able to balance light armor without seriously redesigning core systems... the gear changes had no effect on the armor balance as evidenced by the fact that most people are still wearing light armor. Certainly all the organized groups are 75% made up of players in 5 or 7 pieces of light.

The only way I can think that they can balance it at this point is to redesign the sets, so that the only certain sets are medium, light, and heavy... that or make a fourth resource so that stamina is only used for abilities and buff weapon skills.

I'm getting tired of facing light armor wearers that are more difficult to kill than tanks, but do a ton of damage... ZOS needs to go with trinity. If you are light armor, you are a glass cannon.

Now I know why WoW, WaR, and SWTOR had mechanics based on EQ... its extremely difficult to balance such a complex system as they have here.

But the current state of the game balance is ruining PvP for those of us that want to "play our way."

Nope.. the problem is the vast number of bads not running crit resist on their gear.

so it still ties in to the "play your way" issue. good to know

I'm running Impenetrable on my gear, and I still get hit for 300-400 from the Impulse groups. I have over 700 of the stat.

    300-400 isn't really a crit from impulse.

You play your way and run around butt naked...playing your way doesn't mean you're going to be effective.

Step 1 ... gear out a Sorc in massive amounts of crit and spell power

Step 2 ... fraps rolling over bad people in pvp who are not running impenetrable

Step 3 ... cut off multiple fights vs more than one person after the first person dies because you have either low health or low magicka or both

Step 4 ... refer to overload attacks as just 'light attacks' ignoring the fact that it cost ultimate or that it is impossible to weave other instant skills with it like normal light attacks or that you can't keep your block up while using it

    Step 5 ... profit?

If you aren't using impenetrable on your gear by now, then you are only gimping yourself. It isn't due to "just" one ability, impenetrable pretty much nullifies crit builds.

Doesn't help that Spell Resistance is completely worthless vs anyone wearing light armour. :P

pointless to make so posts about class balance. every class has its own skills that others consider op. yes even NB-s and templars, who tend to QQ more. if you think otherwise than you use the wrong skills.

that's true. I still wont use impenetrable(I like having reduced sprint speed, helps when ruing away:)) but I cant deny the truth in that
