Why do Zenimax only post replys on the lame threads

Hoping we have all noticed that Zenimax constantly sidestep the difficult IMPORTANT questions we ask in this forum area such as '

"Whats the go with the constant crashes linked to memory leak?"

"Constant crashes and massive game lag in their advertised Massive Multliplayer PVP area?'

But they never fail to reply to the minor gripes such as

'Someones pet blocked the door'

"Can we have polearms in game?"

'The green dye makes my bum look big'

'Theres a snake in my boot' (okay this is Sheriff Woody's main gripe)

HOW ABOUT YOU REPLY TO THE IMPORTANT THREADS THAT USUALLY GET MULTIPLE THREADS WRITTEN ON THEM SUCH AS THOSE AT THE TOP SO THE MAJORITY OF US ACTUALLY ARE CONNED INTO BELIEVING YOU MAY HAVE SOME IDEA WTF YOU ARE DOING AND SHOCK HORROR MAY EVEN OFFER A VAGUE TIMELINE AS TTO WHEN YOU MAY FIX IT.

I love the game but after playing it since Beta I am getting to the stage were I will be cancelling my sub to return to one of the many other more stable MMO options and wont be back till you have sorted this stuff. (yes now you trolls can flame me about oh go on then we don't need you blah blah blah

Shame on you ZENIMAX a so far loyal player to game need to post this thread in first place

I actually agree with you on this. Those of us plagued with serious game-breaking crashes and fps drops are being basically ignored while, as you said, they reply to all the little petty gripes or threads about upcoming features.

We just want to know that ZOS has heard us and that the problem is being investigated or dealt with somehow.

I really love ESO and before the last patch I had virtually no complaints with this game. I don't WANT to cancel my sub. But if I can't play the game, I'm not going to continue to pay for it.

I can deal with bugs, imbalance, you name it.. I'm not a hard person to please. I'm one of those silly optimists that drives cynics insane. But crashing every 30 minutes is something that I cannot live with. It takes all the fun out of the game, and it's depressing because I would like to keep supporting this game that is at its core a really great game - just needs some better testing and QA of patches before they get foisted on us.

Yeah that's basically sums my feeling up too glad I am not alone in this but I seriously doubt I will see one of the little green laurels on this thread denoting a Zenimax CS member has tried to offer a reply.

But Thanks to you for your comment

The mods here are just PR people. They act merely as the go-betweens.

Truth be told, they probably went to the devs with these issues (like the bow being completely broken and bugging enemy health bars, weapon swap not working in stealth and causing cosmetic issues like swinging bow as a dagger, etc.) and were told flatly "no comment."

They currently list both of these issues as "under investigation."

To me, they are game breaking. They ruin immersion (weapon swap bugs) and make my spec (DW/bow) unplayable as I rely on knowing how much health an enemy has left to adapt my strategy in realtime.

These two issues need to be priority #1.

Thanks Alien. Yes I had noticed when swapping weapons I seem to have wrong one in use for first few attacks thanks for clearing that for me as another 'not just my pc playing up'

I am not a PR professional, but from my perspective as a customer, an active acknowledgement of the problem even in the threads that gripe about stuff that is in the list of "current issues" would be better than staying silent.

A standard reply would go a long way: "Thank you, this is noted, and our developers are aware of it. We don't know when it will be fixed, but it's been determined that this is an issue for many players, and we are working towards finding a solution to this and the other problems that are listed here: (link)"

It won't make people happy, but at least it will make them less upset.
