Man you may not be to far off. Seriously the vibe im getting is thats where its headed.

Im not getting this vibe at all, did you see how many players were on for 1.3 release day?? Busiest I've ever seen it, TONS of people crafting new gear or dying it. I honestly think 1.3 was the most anticipated and best received update thus far, based on all that I saw. Bugs aside, ZOS did a great job with this update, and I expect the majority of the playerbase to agree.

Okay, 1.3.3 was a big patch, but they need a little bit more then just armor dyes to keep people subscripted to the game. So what is coming in the next big patches?

    Bugs.

From what I can tell... they usually have three or four bug fix patches before every major patch.

You should see plenty of bug fixes.

People logged in to check dyes. Epic 30 minutes of content to redo armor.

1.3 didn't bring anything to the game except to start filling in the glaring holes in customization.

The hardmodes are just the same repackaged junk and aren't being received as hard even.

Stam users are still behind mag users.

I bet we continue to lose subs.

1.4 will be claglorn last zone with dragonstar arena and new trial (the serpent)
Beyond this is just rumor ;)

(we know what is being developed but no idea in which patch will be released etc)

We also know that they have the Justice system targeted for 1.4 based on earlier interviews with Paul sage about the Thieves Guild/DB

Based on the QuakeCon preview and my guesses surrounding the perceived completeness of the footage, I think:

1.4 (September) = City of Ash and final Craglorn changes including that third trial.
    1.5 (October) = Imperial City
1.6 (November) = Justice System, Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild
    1.7 (December) = Murkmire
    1.8 (January) = Wrothgar

I think we will see both the Provisioning and Champion Points changes in the 1.5 or 1.6 updates. I think 1.9 will be a small, fixes only release so the team can prep for a huge 2.0 release to coincide with the one year anniversary of the game's release, perhaps with massive new Oblivion oriented content.

Paul Sage has said that they won't be doing Thieves Guild/DB until after they have had the justice system out to iterate on so it won't be in the same patch.

There's no reason they can't have the first version of the justice system out at their original target(1.4) along with the last zone of Craglorn and City of Ash which they have been working on for a while and had targeted for 1.3 originally.

Full zones like Imperial City, Murkmire and Wrothgar are at least an order of magnitude work work than something like City of Ash or the justice system because world building is the most resource intensive task for a game studio.

I think we are more likely to see Justice system in 1.4 with craglorn and City of Ash, followed by thieves Guild/Db and further Justice system iterations in 1.5, 1.6 alongside Imperial City. i don't think we will see Murkmire and Wrothgar until Next year.
Also I don't think we'll be getting 4 week patch cycles since we've been just barely been getting 6 week patch cycles up to this point.

1.4 (Mid Septmeber) = City of Ash/Upper Craglorn, Justice System part 1
1.5 (Late October) = Thieves Guild, Justice System Part 2, Spellcrafting
1.6 (Early December) = Imperial City, Dark Brotherhood, Justice System Part 3
1.7 and Beyond = Murkmire, Wrothgar and yet unannounced features.

Each of them will have more bugs and some failed/fake attempts at class balance.

Oh... and content, but it will be bugged.

So you suggest the Animation creator should work on fixing memory leaks and achievement bugs? Well, I don't know if THAT is a good idea...
As a former animator and graphic designer, I'd like to state full out that you do not want us touching code in any possible way.

I don't get how people can't understand there are different teams each focused on different tasks, and each team specializes in their one area.

When can we expect jewelery crafting? Or should I just go ahead and sell the jewelery I'm hoarding?

So... two things that would go perfectly together Justice System/Stealing & Thieves Guild and they decide to bring them out independently of each other !

Yep, that sounds ill-conceived and half-assed... pretty much what I've come to expect now though !

Reading all the posts, I get the feeling we might as wel unsub.

Anyone in their right mind would. But then you look at the gorgeous world and the sheer volume of questing content and realise....how can something so right still be so wrong. lol

This game has serious schizophrenic issues...but its trying to get over them I think.

It's funny because I was reading a whole thread today about how content isn't being released fast enough and that the devs shouldn't be stuffing around with existing content at the expense of the new.

I'm not saying one or the other is right, it's just interesting to see such stark contrast in the player base. (Personally I'm somewhere in the middle which is of no help )

Well the fact that they have implemented dozens of new /emotes and didn't fix the eidetic memory or fishing achievements says a lot. Wrong priorities.

Probably different teams working on different things. Animations probably wouldn't be worked on by network engineers or gameplay designers.

If you guys think Thieves Guild or DB are coming any time soon you are crazy. Those are really labor intensive with writing, scripting, coding, animating, voice acting, etc, etc, needing parts of every team. They are also planning on adding new skill lines with them which will take a ton of balancing. I can't see those being out this year at all. I think it will be:
    1.4: Craglorn/Trial, VP to XP
1.5: City of Ash, Imperial City (possibly 1.6), Champion System
    1.6: Justice System, Maybe Spellcrafting
1.7: Probably some other new Vet dungeon
    1.8: Maybe other guilds

This might be a lot of peoples first mmorpg. At least this thread points to that being the case.

All mmorpgs have tons of bugs. Some bugs die fast and easy, others take forever to work out, new stuff always adds more bugs...

if you are not use to it by now, and its enraging to you...pick up a playstation.

Also if you think the people who make new content are the same people who fix bugs....both can be done.

Some of the bugs are just too stupid even for a MMO of its age.

I'd settle for my nightblade's signature ability to work properly. Dark Cloak, I'm looking at you.

I still have loads of content to go through (half way through Cadwell's silver), and don't give 2 hoots about elite content I will never experience.

'New content' for MMOs too often seems to mean amazing constructions that only the devs and a tiny handful of 24/7 players ever see. Give peons like me some small scale and accessible entertainment in Cyrodiil instead, and I'll be quite happy.

I wouldn't mind taking a gander around the imperial city though.

Dark cloak needs to be 4 seconds. When I am doing quests and I am attacked by 4 guys as a bbs without a healer or a assist I am toast. I mostly stealth through the missions because it's more fun. Besides it's pesky to kill them and assassinate everyone anyway. So I sneak when I can.

    I hope:

1.4 Justice system and Imperial City, nerf to vampires and remove emperors.
1.5 Champion system, Arenas 4v4v4 and and new PvP regards (ranks and weapons/armors).
1.6 New content for Cyrodiil and new PvP zones.

If not, I will leave this ***.
