But as always, there are some trolls and griefers who ruin everything.
For example. Right now on EU server, Aldmeri faction side in the Devon's Watch city merchant was claimed by Ebonpact players thru abusing of Multifaction guild (it is then you have players from different factions in the same guild).
This merchant now stay there and sell nothing.
I feel a little ashamed to admit this but after all the arguments I had in favor of this system I hate it. So to anyone who was opposed to me on this ... I concede ... you were right ..... this guild auction house thing sucks. In theory I liked it .... then I went to the auction house to look for something ... you know a 10 min trip to the auction house. I spent over 2 damn hours looking for 1 item in so many stores .. it was insane and a waste of my time. I will never use them again and I pray to all the video game gods that they take this travesty out of the game and put a real AH.
edit: I tend to be grouchy in the morning .. I mean no disrespect to those who like it .. I just do not.

Granted I don't know a lot of the details yet like how much current bids are up to and how long they last, but I have been calling for something like this ever since the veteran re-balancing. I hope they continue to add more cool locations for these, like in small little trade post cities along with the big ones.
For an example just visit Mournhold (or any major city). There is a new wayshrine right inside the trade plaza. There you will see all the new public guild stalls, which bear the name of the guild currently leasing them.
I was already able to find many items (like blue veteran 5 jewelry for my NB) where my current guilds didn't have any.
It also adds to the atmosphere, unlike other games where there are just walls of ugly player vendors, as the ZOS designers have maintained their high standards of artistry and attention to detail.
I actually prefer this to a global auction house, for these and many other reasons.
Well done I say!

There.... There... *pats on back*
The system was broken to begin with. ZOS just has some crazy idea in their mind that they're actually going to get this system to work (which it won't). I never even thought of the Cross-Faction guilds, that's funny though. Take that you non-AH ***! You eat your half assed Guild Kiosk mistake, and eat ALL of it!

I like the idea of kiosks but it would certainly be more convenient to have everything that is for sale available at each kiosk instead of spreading out the merchandise by guild.
The issue with the new system however is, that non guild members cant contribute to the economy.
If you want to sell you still need to use the chat or join a guild
What we need are player shops or the ability to sell at guild stores for a fee.

I'd rather have an auction house, but the problem that you had really isn't an issue with the kiosks or the new guild stores.
The root cause of many of these issues is the complete lack of a functional interface for the stores. As you said, it takes entirely too long to find a single item and there are no shortcuts other than a few addons, which still take quite a long time to use.
A simple search function would go a long way to making these stores more usable.

Oh god .... I just drooled coffee all over me laughing .. funny stuff! I then did it again when i tried to imgaine if the real world just had buildings called "STORE" and we all had to just roam them to see what was in them!
"Did you get my new bike Dad?" Asked Billy with a gleam in his eye.
"No son all I found was a bunch of penny candy in every store I went in and I spent hours looking." exhausted and tired the father added "Don't worry though, I can check thirty stores tomorrow."
With a tear in his eye Billy whines "But when will we have fun?"
Shoulders slumped "I don't know son ... I just don't know."

Totally agree with you. The lack of an auction house in this game is the most frustrating experience I have had in any MMO... and I've played 98% of them since Everquest I.

This is all an interesting convo, but quite sure ZOS is aware of "it takes entirely too long"...it is designed this way as a time sink. A very typical facet within MMO's.
