You have my empathy - I am disabled and have to use a PS3 controller to play because trying to use a keyboard for movement makes my hands hurt within minutes.

The fight against Mannimarco is really, really difficult. Not least of all because of the way that each of your companions drops out, one by one, to seal up rifts or something (I didn't really catch what they were doing because I didn't have time to read the NPC chat window).

The other problem is that because he's a boss, a lot of your abilities don't work. For example, Impulse is useless. I'm pretty sure that runes didn't work either.

I fought Mannimarco using almost entirely Mages Guild abilities. I had something like 25% Spell Critical using Inner Light, a crafted armour set, and whichever Standing Stone gives 4% for both Spell and Weapon Critical.

I tried to stay out of range of Mannimarco's attacks as much as possible, and the main attack I used was Degeneration, coupled with blasts from my staff. If Mannimarco forced me close to him, I used Lightning Form (Sorceror ability) to hit him at close range. I switched between Destruction and Restoration staffs when needed and had potions hotkeyed which restore Health AND Magicka (Bugloss x Columbine).

It still took me three attempts and I may have sworn a lot and thrown my controller on the floor . Good luck!

I had trouble until I switched to 3rd person fully zoomed out with my sorcerer.. then beat him the first way easily this way. If you're used to first person, this is a huge liability in edge.

You should be fine just using Resto staff and your Templar heals. You don't need to move at all during this fight, just keep your magicka up and heal yourself while auto attacking everything. I did it this way exactly as I stated.

You could do it with a multi-button mouse.

I play a VR2 Templar and this is the best advice I can give you: I don't know if you have secondary weapon or not (I don't use destro on my templar) but your best bet is to do this as a long haul battle. Don't use any of your magicka on damage spells except for Piercing Javelin (as it is a knock back) even then use it only when absolutely needed to keep adds off you., Save the majority of magicka for healing. Use Healing Ritual and Restoring Aura alternatively. Rely only on the damage from your staff and kite like mad. Focus on one add at a time and continually keep moving. I'm not sure which hand you are using but I would use the keyboard and not the mouse, you can move using WSAD and will also be able to dodge and activate powers. Use Nova when you get enough ultimate up.

If you are able, go level up a stamina based weapon. I would suggest a Two Handed Sword as you will only need to unlock one power for the following to work and it is probably the most effective method. This will give you some heavy hitting stamina based options (allowing you to keep magicka for healing) that will allow you build ultimate really quickly. The fisrt Two Handed Weapon power (Cleave) builds 3 ultimate each time you use it. Use Cleave until you run out of stamina, don't bother with standard attacks and switch back to healing straight away. Use the destro staff while you heal and recover Stamina. Repeatedly build ulimate and drop Nova as frequently as possible.

Even when the temptation takes you to speed things up, stay focused and do it one step at a time always focusing on keeping your health up.

Take a pile of potions to use when your magicka starts to get low and don't let your health drop below half way.

Not sure if this helps but it's the best strategy I can think of.
