You have my empathy - I am disabled and have to use a PS3 controller to play because trying to use a keyboard for movement makes my hands hurt within minutes.

The fight against Mannimarco is really, really difficult. Not least of all because of the way that each of your companions drops out, one by one, to seal up rifts or something (I didn't really catch what they were doing because I didn't have time to read the NPC chat window).

The other problem is that because he's a boss, a lot of your abilities don't work. For example, Impulse is useless. I'm pretty sure that runes didn't work either.

I fought Mannimarco using almost entirely Mages Guild abilities. I had something like 25% Spell Critical using Inner Light, a crafted armour set, and whichever Standing Stone gives 4% for both Spell and Weapon Critical.

I tried to stay out of range of Mannimarco's attacks as much as possible, and the main attack I used was Degeneration, coupled with blasts from my staff. If Mannimarco forced me close to him, I used Lightning Form (Sorceror ability) to hit him at close range. I switched between Destruction and Restoration staffs when needed and had potions hotkeyed which restore Health AND Magicka (Bugloss x Columbine).

It still took me three attempts and I may have sworn a lot and thrown my controller on the floor o:) . Good luck!

    To help with Mannimarco...

I wanted to get up close and personal and beat him to death, but he resists most of the damage, his knock back is too powerful and if you aren't careful you get disoriented and lose sight of his allies who do the killing for him.

If you don't engage him close up, but just used ranged attacks from near the entrance (I used a resto staff), he will just get on with whatever he's doing and your friends will attempt to close the portals. They don't do a very good job because mobs still come through that you have to deal with, but that can be done from range as well.

Keep up the long range attacks and the big M slowly dies - though I got bored at the end and ran in to smack him about the face with a couple of axes :)

Unfortunately I have no idea how to do any of that using just one hand, but if you can get to level 49 it shouldn't be a problem!

I had trouble until I switched to 3rd person fully zoomed out with my sorcerer.. then beat him the first way easily this way. If you're used to first person, this is a huge liability in edge.

all I see are mice that discriminate against left handed gamers!

There are 2 posts, mine and one other, that specifically state that the mouse comes in both a left and right handed version.

you stop pointing out that I didn't read anything!

on the bright side though I may just buy that naga.

hmm one handed - you could try this...
    - it looks like it might help depending on which hand you are able to use.
    - I cannot remeber how I beat him - I too played as a templar with resto and destro.
    - if I remember correctly I was not able to use the spell rebound on him
    - I did move alot and kept my heals up

I thought about getting this because well I'm lazy but it would do nicely as an alternate ASWD pad

I also recommend pairing this with the razer naga hex it has six buttons that work nicely with the 6 abilities you have.

You should be fine just using Resto staff and your Templar heals. You don't need to move at all during this fight, just keep your magicka up and heal yourself while auto attacking everything. I did it this way exactly as I stated.

You could do it with a multi-button mouse.
    The Razer Naga 2014.
    Works great for me.
    Keep us updated!

Also @badmojo that wasn't even remotely funny

I wasn't going for humor, I myself am able bodied and I sometimes wish I had USB foot pedals for more control options. If I lost the use of an arm tomorrow, I would probably try using the keyboard with my foot, even if I only used the spacebar to fire an ability and then used my mouse buttons for movement, I feel like it would be better than trying to use one hand for both mouse and keyboard.

I play a VR2 Templar and this is the best advice I can give you: I don't know if you have secondary weapon or not (I don't use destro on my templar) but your best bet is to do this as a long haul battle. Don't use any of your magicka on damage spells except for Piercing Javelin (as it is a knock back) even then use it only when absolutely needed to keep adds off you., Save the majority of magicka for healing. Use Healing Ritual and Restoring Aura alternatively. Rely only on the damage from your staff and kite like mad. Focus on one add at a time and continually keep moving. I'm not sure which hand you are using but I would use the keyboard and not the mouse, you can move using WSAD and will also be able to dodge and activate powers. Use Nova when you get enough ultimate up.

If you are able, go level up a stamina based weapon. I would suggest a Two Handed Sword as you will only need to unlock one power for the following to work and it is probably the most effective method. This will give you some heavy hitting stamina based options (allowing you to keep magicka for healing) that will allow you build ultimate really quickly. The fisrt Two Handed Weapon power (Cleave) builds 3 ultimate each time you use it. Use Cleave until you run out of stamina, don't bother with standard attacks and switch back to healing straight away. Use the destro staff while you heal and recover Stamina. Repeatedly build ulimate and drop Nova as frequently as possible.

Even when the temptation takes you to speed things up, stay focused and do it one step at a time always focusing on keeping your health up.

Take a pile of potions to use when your magicka starts to get low and don't let your health drop below half way.

Not sure if this helps but it's the best strategy I can think of.

the whole game would be tough like that, there are some gaming mice, some not shaped like normal mice either, that have a crazy amount of buttons.

I wish I remember what the brand name was.

Also @badmojo that wasn't even remotely funny

I believe Razer and Logitech both have mice with multiple buttons designed for MMO's :)

Now before everyone starts freaking about the price of Razer, it would be just as expensive if not probably cheaper than buying an assistive technology keyboard (some of those are well over $400 US)

@lycanslerwb17_ESO depending on your dexterity and fine motor skills in the hand you are using the buttons might be rather small and are often situated on the side of the mouse. The below link is for reference only, there may be more inexpensive alternatives available if purchasing a product is an option for you.

This is a one handed alternative:

The term actually used in the ADA statute is "reasonable accommodation."

Interestingly, I too game with the use of only one arm (my left - due to paralysis caused by nerve damage in the right one) - and I also worked in public transportation for many years (where ADA compliance is - or was back then - a major daily operational concern).

Yancey's right - and, ruff, you're just blowin' smoke.

"Blowin' smoke" about what? I didn't quote the ADA, I explained it. If you notice in my original statement, the only thing I put in quotes was the word reasonable; but hey, don't let a little thing like facts stand in the way of your ignorance!

Mannimarco is hard. I have a frozen right thumb. It works for hitting the spacebar, but all the side buttons on mice are no-go's. I also tend to play Templars which if you do what is the 'healer' mindset, you can't do a lot of damage. If you can respec, do so and put your points in health and stamina, use armor to boost mana. Take most of your 'damage skills' from the fighters guild and weapon lines, leaving only healing for when you need it. I used Aedric Spear, Silver Bolts and two restro damage skills, a LOT of spell crit potions, and ritual of life to heal myself. Nova is a good ultimate.
