Two days to patch. Thanks for that. Love paying for nothing.

And now? Oh wait, still can't play - just sit & watch the eternal loading screen.

If it took you 2 days to patch then that is an ISP issue not a ZOS issue. After a patch for me it takes 5 mins or a bit longer to load to character select cause the game is loading the changed files for the first time.

It's a ZOS issue to the extent that they could allow pre-patching.

Thanks for the info on the longer load time after a patch, though. I'll give it a while longer & hope it works its way through.

I'm actually stuck at a loading screen in the main story quest right now.

I just defeated the Lyris Doppelganger and went through the door into the Halls of Torment

and now I'm stuck at a loading screen that has lasted about 5 minutes so far.

There is also another (endless loading screen) bug affecting a specific (main storyline) quest in Coldharbor, reported here (among other places):

Actually it is so what I said cause the next time you load up it doesn't take as long as it does right after a patch. I know what I am talking about cause every MMO does this after a patch and I have been playing MMOs for 14 years.

If you are having an issue where it never loads period. Then it is something else like perhaps it not able to load up files properly and just hangs. Or hardware issue where it can't handle the graphics load cause settings are to high. Most of the graphic settings affect the character screen just like it would in game. It could be any number of things but it can't be ZOS side cause then everyone would have the same problem.

After the patch I could not get to the character screen. I did a repair and that helped. No new files were downloaded or extracted, but the repair process did help me.
