In all honest Blizzard have mess up the MMORPG genre so much so everyone expect that all other MMORPG should be same and when the are not people start whine and nag that game have go F2P to survive and so on.

Thing is that Blizzard have made so easy for casual player (yes i count myself now a days as casual player to) so honest it is get way to boring to play WoW sure it is nice to jump in do a few " Scenarios" when you have time over and sure it is nice to jump in do few LFR in WoW but why should everyone run around with epic i mean back classic would you could still do raid in green and blue gear but in WoW today if you don't have epic as soon as you hit max lvl you get call noob or even worst and get kick out from most thing. WoW is almost 10 year old now and i understand that most people will refer to that game in many way but reminder not everything that WoW is good many thing that Blizzard have add to WoW have also hurt game genre a lot like item lvl on gear which i thing is most stupid thing the very allowed to be show in game.

What i look forward is justice system and thieves guild but both of them is income to game

Um, excuse me but SCREW WoW. Ah, that feels better. The less like that thing the better as far as I am concerned.

Not exactly a very constructive comment. You don't have to like everything about WoW, but I don't think that simply mentioning a good idea from WoW is bad in any way.

Personally, I would also like to see some quicker form of PvP too. Many people don't always have time to dedicate to Cyrodill type of PvP. I don't think ZOS should be as scared to experiment with more forms of PvP.

Ok lets get to the facts then shall we?

Scenarios have no meaningful rewards or challenge and are always the same 15 minutes story lines --> pointless

Small Scale pvp which is free has no meaningful rewards and you only waste your time there while you are the Cannon Fodder for bored Gladiators that did Arena or ranked ---> pointless

Those "good" idea´s are in reality bad and one of the reasons why WOW is bleeding subs since they were introduced.

Content that should be added is

    - Housing
    - Professions like Horse Breeder, Farmer
    - 1v1 Arena with a real Ladder
    - Justice System with open world pvp
    - Dynamic Events that influence your reputation among guilds and towns folk
    - Performance patches to reduce lag and fps drops

Scenarios DO have meaningful rewards. You get Valor points that you can use to upgrade your gear. So there is definitely a reason to do it, and when I queue up for a scenario I am instantly placed in a group because of the huge number of people running them for Valor points. Scenarios are perfect, short little casual group encounters that you can just hop in a do. They perfectly cover that hole in content.

But I completely agree that the should be Housing (I cant believe that there isn't), a 1v1 Arena (not everyone likes the zergy Cyrodill PvP) and some more Dynamic events (if done well)

Meaningful for WoW mean nothing in ESO. WoW is about GEAR. How to get GEAR.

ESO is also about Gear. One of 20 MAIN things in ESO is gear.

WoW has 3 things. Gear, Raids, Battlegrounds. WoW is great at that....want it? Go play wow!

I've been accused to post way to long post, so I'll just say: ESO is a MMORPG.
    That makes your comment moot.

dungeon can be already done in 20 min ( not talking about coh but all others), so a nice casual thing already exist, there is just no reward for it.

Well making content that already exists to be continuously rewarding would definitely help the game a lot. I will definitely agree to that. One of the things I believe that WoW has done well was to include the Justice/Valor point system which gives you and excuse and a reward to keep doing content like Dungeons and Scenarios. ESO absolutely needs something like that.

I like how when someone types in the acronym WoW inevitably someone freaks out. The game that shall not be named.

Every single MMO that I know of is based around 1 goal - character development. You want to make your character "better". You quest to get XP to level to get better skills. You quest in hopes you get better gear to do more damage / damage mitigation / healing. You craft to be able to make better gear to do the same. You get motifs to make your character look "better".

But reaching max level doesn't necessarily mean you necessarily have to be done with improving your character. And this is what W... er... the game that shall not be named does better than anyone. So borrow a few of their ideas if you need to. They borrowed them from other sources anyway.

I enjoy PVP but what we have with ESO does not satisfy me. The type of PVP which I enjoy is small scale PVP where individuals contribution makes a difference. At the moment is faction vs faction and regardless of how good you are is organised guilds that make the difference.

There are lots of games with small scale PvP.

    ESO is WARFARE.....

And I wun fights in PuG groups on EU server, Bloodthorn, several times. Some commander takes control and the rest follows.

    This is WAR! Not 2v2.

Maybe its not the game for you then?

    • Battlegrounds - Some times I just want legally kill people. Add in a 10v10 Capture the Flag mode and Fun will be had.
    • Barbershop - My character really needs a Haircut and a Shave. ASAP!!! BTW this is not a Social thing, so please don't try to do some weird tradable social thing to it. Just put in a simple Barbershop.
    • Character Name Change - I would even spend money to have this done.
    • Housing - Not really a big deal but wold be cool.
    • Horse respec - Went all speed, should have put some points into stam. Now got to buy a new horse and start again :(
    • Moveable UI - Options are nice to have. Yea, Yea can use Addons.

Player Housing (if done right). It may not be the popular approach but I think housing needs to integrate into the game seamlessly. Not by allowing players to toss up a house all over the landscape. That would just ruin the world. No, place houses in cities and towns which are just as fixed as the existing buildings. But each 'house' can contain multiple occupants. When you buy a house you get a unique key that links to that particular instance of the house. So when you go inside it's your house you enter, not some other person's. Can even give out guest keys to friends.

But player housing is a very resource hungry feature. Every player has to have room on the server for their data (house/furnishing). No point in having a house if you can't decorate it the way you want. Has to have real utility, such as weapons racks, armor dummies, bookshelves, etc. That's a lot of data to add into the game. Not to mention the server having to run thousands of instances of everyone's house. So, very resource heavy request.

But, I guess it can be done. The game that shall not be mentioned is kind of doing this in their next expansion.

That same game has a really big variety of vanity content. Though the players all look pretty much the same, they offset that with a huge number of pets/mounts/spell effects. None of which is in any way useful in combat, but it helps players be more unique. Which is what every player strives for. The new dye system is all about players creating their own unique look, or...heck... being in a guild with 'guild colors'.

    So, more vanity content.

More quests. In Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim my most downloaded mod was/is well crafted quest mods.

As for pvp. I don't know if they can do anything about it. Any game I've played the pvp is a fail. I don't think it can be done programaticaly (sp). I like the idea of the Justice System which can bring limited pvp into the world. Though I can see it being bigger than that. People are going to create their own versions of the Thieve's Guild or Dark Brotherhood. It will go beyond individuals having a bounty on their head to an entire guild gutting everyone in town so they are all pvp flagged as a group. I may not take part in it, but it could be damn fun to watch a group of twenty or so bounty hunters trying to collect off a group of 20 or so Brigands.

Unpredictable dynamic content. I once had the idea while playing that game no one wants to mention it would be cool that if on this run from point A to point B, which I've done a million times before, some dynamically generated instance gets spawned. That I encounter some woman being chased by two guys with swords. It's instanced, of course, not part of the 'normal' world. Just something for me, and me alone. And, I may never do it again. Be a lot of coding, of course, but these could be created. Just really small content that may not give much reward, but can and would break up the monotony of a very static world, which all MMOs are. With this system in place, you just never know what will happen!

I've found myself to enjoy Skirmishes, as found in Neverwinter and LotRO. Just some 15-20 minute fast paced PVE battles with a little story that are repeatable.

I have noticed that all modern mainstream MMOs except ESO have short PvE encounters that you can automatically queue up and do. Scenarios in WoW, Adventures in Wildstart, Skirmishes in Neverwinter, Rift has something which I forgot the name and FF XIV also has a couple of different times of short PvE content.

I think content like that is super important because it closes a huge gap in available content. ESO could desperately use something like that.

I don't really want 'real' content (i.e dungeons) so much as I want "fluff". Mini games, poker, more instruments to play, more random encounters.....yeah. Stuff of that nature.

Oh, and is it too much to ask for a space to put my character's bio? I know it doesn't really matter but...please? I imagine its easy.

I basically want things where I don't necessarily have to be a specific lvl to participate.

Pet Battles!!! lol, I am just kidding, Pokémon in Tamriel would just be silly, but I would also definitely like to see more fluff. I guess the Crime system could be considered to be fluff so I am glad that they are at least coming out with something.

What else would be fun Fluff that would go well with the world of Tamriel? I am going to have to think about it maybe I will post something tomorrow.

    - Player Housing, because it's another set of goals to aspire to and people can spend a long time on it trying to get all the furniture and such that they want, making it look awesome, inviting friends over, RPing there, etc.

    - Minigames, including things like chess and chess sets you could buy for your house, maybe other multiplayer card or board games, dice rolling, horse racing, frog racing, playable music (like in LotRO), etc.

    - Arenas! And dueling. I like smaller PvP fights with more even numbers, it's fun.

More fun items to collect that really have no "true" gameplay purpose and are just fun, like the quest trophies.
    Player housing...
    More sandbox mechanics.
More influencing the world as a player.

Scaled instances would be nice, they would scale to your party size, so you could go solo if you wanted to or run 2-3 man or more. Trying to find a group always sucks and sometime I like to play the way I want to ( explore all rooms and look at everything) and go off the beaten path.

Little more freedom in exploring, I really hate trying to climb on something and I can't jump up on a small ledge because of a barrier or coming to a drop off and running into barrier there as well when there is clearly something to explore, having to walk around and entire mountain to get to what I was just looking at from above.

Being able to see what my stats would be when changing out armor or a weapon.

I dont have time to read the thread, so I just throw in a few thoughts.

    Cyrodiil:

Alot more small objects or tasks to perform all over the map. These things should benefit your Campaign in one way or Another. This would help spreading out players all over the map, expecially Deep into enemy territory. Would make it far more interesting.

Skip far travel to forward camps too.
Add PvP loot drops for some risk/reward in this game.
