What other types of content would you like to see in ESO

Its no secret that a lot of people stopped playing ESO because of the lack in variety of content (before AZs it was just questing, dungeons and one form of PvP). Thankfully ZOS is planning to add some cool new content, like the new magic system (tied to exploring places) and Dragon Star Arena.

What other content would you like to see in ESO that would add to its longevity?

Personally, I would like to see some quick casual content that I can do just by hopping in really quick when I don't have a lot of time. For example I enjoy the option in WoW that you can do casual Scenarios (super mini dungeons for three people that you can just queue automatically). Its not important content by any means, but its something nice that can do really quick if you want to for some very minor (but still worthwhile) rewards.

What else would be cool?

Not exactly a very constructive comment. You don't have to like everything about WoW, but I don't think that simply mentioning a good idea from WoW is bad in any way.

In any case, if you post here please add an idea about a new type of content you would like to see in ESO.

Personally, I would also like to see some quicker form of PvP too. Many people don't always have time to dedicate to Cyrodill type of PvP. I don't think ZOS should be as scared to experiment with more forms of PvP. Even if there end up being a smaller number of Campaigns for Cyrodill, that would simply mean that some people might prefer doing other forms of PvP. Its a good thing not a bad one.

I agree with some kind of quick queue dungeon that takes maybe 30-45 minutes tops with some kind of respectable rewards at the end. My biggest gripe with the game is when you do a VR group dungeon that takes 1+hrs to complete and you get 2 green items that you can't even use, it really ruins it and makes me just avoid doing them all together unless I HAVE to for some reason. They should add some more VR content so you don't have to grind the other factions quest. It really kinda ruined it for me because the faction you had loyalty to and fought the whole game for now means nothing and your fighting against them because ZoS just wanted to recycle material for the people who put the time in to go VR. I've seen so many people unsubstantiated because of this, people who have put in the 100+ hours to roll VR and then get stuck in that "grinding" feeling with the quest of the other factions.
It would also be awesome if they added a grouping tool that one, actually worked and two, that allows you to make or join a group in Cyrodill to just do the quest instead of the whole PvP environment. I know that's what Cyrodill is supposed to be for but either give people the option to quest and create/join a group for just that reason or just remove the quest period and make it specifically for PvP overall!

I would like to have a little farm, not too big though. Maybe have a few pigs and sheep. perhaps a cow.
Lot's of land for growing crops though.

I would grow, weeds, sunflowers, cactusususususu, monkey puzzle trees, plants that eat people.

Oh also i would use loads of my land for crazy golf course that i rent to goblins.

    My short list:

-Player Housing - I need somewhere to rest after saving the day.

-Server Stability - I know this is asking alot but would be nice.

-Class Balance (Pet Peeve) - Again, I know this is a toughy so I won't hold out on it.

-Cross Server PVP - Although this could go horribly wrong due to latency.

-Attack Anyone, Anywhere - It's ES, it's war time, so why aren't we allowed to invade the other faction's zones?

-Balanced PvP - I don't need to explain, everyone already knows.

If these things would be implemented/tweaked, I'd be a happy bunny.

I agree that the game is being held back by the unpolished grouping tool. To me it should be a very top priority to make sure that the LFG tool is as polished as soon as possible. Spamming chat or having to wait for guildies is doing a HUGE dis-service to the game and I believe that it is definitely driving a lot of people away from ESO.

I would also love if the LFG tool could help you find other people to PvE in Cyrodill. It seems simple enough to implement.

I want to see player housing and their own public market, but in Cyrodiil.

Spend some coin on lot and materials. Hire some merchants and some guards. Sell your items to your hearts content. Buttttt...It can be destroys at any time. Of course more money means more staying power. And nothing is gained from the destroyers except maybe prime real estate going back on the market.

Yeah i think that could be done.

    - Personal trials. Or failing that, something that is actually challenging.

    - More storyline quests. The more the better.

    - Ability to tweak gear appearance like in many other MMOs. I found a set that looks awesome but it's just blue VR 10. I'd like to make it a costume or something for my current nice (stat wise) but awful looking new set.

Ok lets get to the facts then shall we?

Scenarios have no meaningful rewards or challenge and are always the same 15 minutes story lines --> pointless

Small Scale pvp which is free has no meaningful rewards and you only waste your time there while you are the Cannon Fodder for bored Gladiators that did Arena or ranked ---> pointless

Those "good" idea´s are in reality bad and one of the reasons why WOW is bleeding subs since they were introduced.

Content that should be added is

    - Housing
    - Professions like Horse Breeder, Farmer
    - 1v1 Arena with a real Ladder
    - Justice System with open world pvp
    - Dynamic Events that influence your reputation among guilds and towns folk
    - Performance patches to reduce lag and fps drops

One addition I would love is if they added additional npc interaction based on race and (if you got it) werewolf/vampire.

I find it weird that if I'm an imperial, and imperials are attacking someplace and that npcs don't even hesitate asking for my help when I'm clearly wearing imperial armor and potentially riding up on my imperial horse. I also cannot stand how you need disguises when dealing with your own people, or how werewolf hunters/sympathizers cannot tell you're a werewolf.

I've recently started a post about "Roleplaying Skill Lines" which is basically what I'd like to see considering ESO is the most immersive MMO out there and could really pull this off.

In a nutshell, I'd like to see a non-combat skill line that is unique to each class and purely based on fun and roleplay. Like sorcerers levitating people or putting them in bubbles or turning a floor to ice that you can slide on. Or morphing people into frogs (out of combat). Or making a puppet show with smoke and particles. And fire. Why does everything have to be combat-based dammit! Give me my sorcerer-entitled arcane fun!

    So yeah.

    1. Housing. That is open world. i wouldnt mind instanced wildstar style
    2. Player ecomony and trade quests, similar to archeage
    3. Dynamic events. that are actually dynamic
    4. Naval combat, since it starts becoming so popular.
    5. ...and in general, the more sandbox the game becomes, the more will survive

More unexpected content. Quests do a great job at telling a story, but at max level we need roaming rare spawns, armies that attack cities, etc.

Scenarios DO have meaningful rewards. You get Valor points that you can use to upgrade your gear. So there is definitely a reason to do it, and when I queue up for a scenario I am instantly placed in a group because of the huge number of people running them for Valor points. Scenarios are perfect, short little casual group encounters that you can just hop in a do. They perfectly cover that hole in content.

But I completely agree that the should be Housing (I cant believe that there isn't), a 1v1 Arena (not everyone likes the zergy Cyrodill PvP) and some more Dynamic events (if done well)

I agree with this. I spend so much time trying to find a group and even finding the battle. I love the big open world but I don't really want to spend most of my time finding it and then running and riding back to the battle all the time.

    Wouldn't mind seeing a level bracket battleground system.. from like 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 (molvik), 40-44, 45-49..

just to give people a fair fight.. to be honest 1 level 10 can not take out a VR12 .. and if they can .. ALOT of kiting or afkness is involved. atleast with level bracket (could even be higher brackets) you can actually get use to your character in pvp... "twink" if people wish to do that (its actually rather fun and alot of people played daoc to twink molvik). Have 1 keep each with towers or resources (could use it for testing aswell) i think you know what im getting at here

    1. More damned toolbar slots. "But it makes you make a choice". What it actually does is limits that choice, which seems contrary to what ESO's skill system was designed to do.

    2. A Higher level zone boss. Think of the world bosses but much more difficult. One per zone. Maybe tie them into how many Dark Anchors are closed in, say, 3 hours. Then have Bal get all angry and drop a very big a anchor with a boss that may require 20+ people to kill. One per zone.

    3. Good end game raids worth doing. I'll leave it at that.

    4. Player housing. Like you didn't see this coming. Conditions though: a) it's an actual structure you place somewhere in the world. b) the place you put these in should be kinda off on its own so the rest of the landscape isn't littered with houses (see UO and SWG).

    5. Crafting "procs". Put a little randomness into the crafting where you may get a reward. Say you're crafting an item and your proc roll is very high. Maybe that new item is green quality. Or on upgrading items. Maybe when researching you learn a 2nd trait. Something like that. Or even better, maybe you learn a rare trait that doesn't drop in the world. Maybe this requires a combination of trait gems. There's a TON that can be done with this.

Oh? You must be thinking of the all-new, all-improved Vet+ 1-10 content - you know, solo-all-the-time-through-all-the-content-comfortably! Jump right in anytime and be very productive. No worries about endgame capabilities, just enjoy some light, non-performance-anxiety-producing-MMO-recreation...hop in really quick and have some (*only*)solo fun in Vet content! Oooh, aside from the Vet dungeons maybe though, not sure about the part where you said 'worthwhile rewards' :|.

Me? I'm waiting hopefully on the Justice System...and the DB and Thieves Guild lines coming in. In fact, I'm trying reallllly hard to focus my thoughts specifically in that direction...makes me happy to have hope, *nods and grins! B)
