The whole game time card concept was dreampt up for people (kids) without credit cards (or unwilling to use them). Some kids get an allowance but arent of age to get a CC, the whole system caters to them.

i don't know if anyone has said this yet, but keep in mind that yes gamestop may have little in the line of PC games, but ESO has only been out for around 4 months now and it, for whatever reason takes stores a long time to get-in PC game time code.
true but that is my point that depending on where you live and the stores in your area some will get it sooner than other i'm not defending them, i am just saying give it time and hopefully they will catch up with the rest, but for whatever reason some are slower than other.mg180c_ESO wrote: »greetings

I'd have to strongly disagree with this one as an ultimatum. Availability is greatly influenced by where you are in the world. At least in the US where I am, Amazon had the cards ready for release on launch day. Walmart and Target might not have had it on launch day but had them within the first month. Gamestop took a few months due to some mix-up and still doesn't sell them online. Based on what region of the US you are in, it would appear from the responses to this thread that the cards were available sooner in some regions that others.
Nope, this isn't like Xbox live where they try to lock your credit card into their system. (Or at least used to.)I remember you had to put a card on file before you could activate your game and put in a prepaid. I haven't tried unsubscribing since I didn't realize it lets you stop having a card on file if you unsubscribe. I thought you always had to have a card on file if your game was active.
