WTHeck is going on with Shadowcloak? It's been working beautifully for me until today. Now all of a sudden NPC's don't miss a beat and continue to track and attack as if it was never used.

Crits just aren't happening

And I swear it's not working on players either, unless all of a sudden Mark is invisible and or every player suddenly found the efficacy of detect inv pots.

ZOS- Dude... this is ridiculous. Fix this.

Am I totally off base on this? Imagining?

    its been bugged for months now. you are lucky it worked so well for as long as it has for you

    OMG what a relief.... :wink: I feel so much better now. :neutral_face:

    If that's the case ZOS is jacking over 1/4 the player base for how long? Good grief I had no idea. The class was so much fun until today. I mean it was never a powerhouse, but certainly was fun being a pain in the arse to kill and to cull the weak from the herd. Now the class is utterly unplayable. Cloak was about the only thing going for NB IMO. Bah.

    ZOS said they would "Slowly" adjust the class. but that may be a long wait:/ pessimistic as it sounds. I hope they fix it soon, iv had my fair share of bug-outs with it. sometimes it wont even activate, yet still cost the magicka. its not utterly unplayable, at least I don't think so. but its pretty frustraiting a lot of times

    I just want to hit the button and actually disappear instead of losing a giant chunk of magicka while staying perfectly visible.

    I would like to be able to use Shadowy Disguise with my DoT abilities. You know. The ones that are also exclusive to the NB class. But the ability doesn't work if you also have one of your targets suffering from a DoT you put on them.

    I understand that it wouldn't work if a mob put a DoT on me. But the skills of your class not able to be used together? That's dumb.

    You can't even use Shadowy Disguise with Refreshing Path and they are from the same skill tree.

    When ZoS fixes this there will be a NB party. All NBs invited. Hell, everyone's invited.

    Doesn't look like they fixed anything that matters in NB with this last patch. Does anyone even use summon Shade? So monsters used to stop and stair for a second or two and they probably ignore the shade and continue attacking you.

    I was so excited to get the Shades... it was like cracking a party popper thats insides limply fell out instead of exploding. Such a disappointment.

    I like how they actually fixed a bug with cloak, but didn't bother to fix its brokenness or even acknowledge it.

    Kind of like how they mentioned in one patch fixing a bug with werewolves being able to devour the same corpse multiple times. And conveniently left out this involved nerfing werewolves by giving devour a rather long cooldown time.

    ZOS sure has interesting priorities.

    The failure to even acknowledge the cloak problem in the last patch is quite an achievement.

    It's the nightblade's signature skill, and it doesn't work.

    Yes, this one in particular is annoying, should be able to afflict enemies and then disappear while they writhe in agony!
    But seriously, yes, needs fix plz.

    It's 'cos NB class is so OP you get to taunt ppl by dumping chunk of your magicka on fake invisi skill.

    So with the cheap respecs, I ditched my favored shadowy disguise and picked up darkcloak. I noped right out of PVP and changed it back to SD when I saw how busted that thing is. That's very unfortunate.

    22 May and the NB just receives nerfs and minor fixes instead others classes receive fixes and buff like Templars

    I saw someone in.... either wabbajack or thornblade... use it against my teammates. Was completely harmless, as I don't think the shades even damage you. just ignore them.

    each shades deal about 30 damage ;)
    there is only one usefull practice for this skill - synergy with syphons (resto stave as example). they are generating heal on you each hit. plus debuff on enemy. usefull only in 1v1 duels. imo

    they are also bugged as hell. sometimes they stop at one place and do nothing.
    not going in stealth mode with you as well =)
    ah and also, they are eating heals from your teammates. so, shade can get heal instead of some random guy around

    ZOS really needs to explain what is going on with this class, it's abilities and what they are doing to fix it. None of this.."we are taking great care to balance the class...but not too fast..blah blah."

    I don't want a band-aid. This class needs ZOS to get out the knife, cut it open and FIX the obviously broken abilities, starting with Shadow Cloak. This ONE thing is a force multiplier upon which other fixes and balance issues can be built. Nothing meaningful can be done to this class until that skill is fixed.

    How are you going to balance the class when you don't really know what it's capable of in combat until that skill actually works?
