This is new ?
Over the last week while playing the game I will not be able to attack or use any skills ? I can move around, put my weapons away, pull them back out etc.. but can not attack. Then it will work for a few minutes and then my skills will lock up again. I have had zero issues with lag, or my toons performance until just recently ? I have not down loaded any add-ons, but I am thinking if this keeps up it will defiantly be a game breaker for me. Anyone else having these issues ? I can turn the game off and on to fix it for a few, but it keeps recurring.

Stash✭✭I just had this problem in cyrodil too. I could move, but none of my skills would work. It seems to be a moment to moment thing. I was in combat, I tried to move away from combat, and none of my skills worked, couldn't crouch, attack, or block. Just moments before, everything worked fine, then bam, nothing worked. Quite frustrating.
I hear there's a patch coming. Let's hope lots of these 'known issues' will get better.
edit: I had some stamina and magicka left, not full, but enough to either crouch, or fire off a spell.Edited by Stash on August 3, 2014 3:03AM1 -

✭✭I had this happen to me this evening when I was up against a boss. I could move around but nothing would fire at all. Not the staff or anything from the skill bar. It lasted for almost 30 seconds and then finally everything started working again. Good thing my wife was there to protect my arse

But if your wife was there, and she hadn't lag spike, then something else is the issue?
I have encountered the issue some times, and what solves it for me, is pressing Enter to type in chat, click on the middle of the screen and carry on as normal.

I have a pretty beefed up gaming computer and have not notice any lag issues at all until this. And your correct it comes and goes, and its timing is normally when I am in the middle of a fight. But I have tried ESC- clicking on add-ons and then pushing the E button- pressing Enter and clicking on chat- but in most cases it takes quitting the game and logging back in, but then it just happens again with in 10-30 mins of play. Thank yawl for your time , and responses. If they do not get it fixed then I will head back to Aion or GW20

*What...you didn't have to wiggle your nose and hold one ear while snapping a beat - all simultaneously as well????
Glad that worked for you. Also glad players are so inventive and willing to share the MANY work-arounds needed in TESO to gain reasonably working game-play. Thanks.
