This. I've found raving on the forums rarely works. Submitting a ticket doesn't always work, either, but there's a better chance of someone actually fixing your problem.

BTW, if you read the patch notes I posted above, I could see where this could happen. (Not saying it did, 'cause I'm still downloading). The Imperial light armor was pretty pink to begin with and if they saturated it, well, it could be quite pink.

BTW, do we have to pay to dye armor? I know achievements unlock color, but is there anything to stop someone from dying it? Because if there isn't, well, as others have said ... there's the solution.

(And you can bet I'll be dyeing my Imperial light armor as soon as I get in the game - even pre-patch, I hated the color.)

What if I cannot get the colour it was before?

Then what?

I picked these pieces SPECIFICALLY for their looks and because the REDGUARD TOP matched my DUNMER AND my DUNMER HEAVY top for PVP.

I don't care what anything anywhere says; slightly changed does not equal dark burnished red = salmon pink.

The character selection screen is forever bright and serves as a perfect platform to take screenshots of armor. Use it!!

The patch notes explained they have adjusted the character log in screen lighting as well...but maybe it would serve ;o/

Cross that bridge when you come to it?

I haven't finished patching yet, but per Dulfy's guide there are a bunch of dark reds to check out, some of which should be really easy to get.

New color is definitely ugly though. I will give you that.

ok we get it your mad.... go dye it to a new color or stay mad its up to you. They also posted that you can change the settings back in the patch notes.

Yes. It has in my case. Just do it. You never know. Pitching a wobbly isn't going to help much either.

I hated the dyes on the pts; they were muted and FUGLY seriously, and I do not want it dyed; I want it how it was.

Hope this gets rid of that fugly salmon lol..... woulda been cool had it matched your skin tone.

since we were already making a post-processing pass, but you can disable color correction by setting the COLOR_CORRECTION value in your UserSettings file to “0.”

I can understand rage at this level if this were after the craglorn patch where they turned everything into brown and orange ugly rags with no way of changing it. But, you can now pick a whole variety on colors from the start and more later. Plus you can match each piece as you see fit.

What is the big deal here? Did you even bother messing with the dyes to see what you could come up with before jumping on here in rage mode?
