Launcher won't auto-patch

Any idea why this might be the case? My launcher won't download the patch, then when I try to close it, I sometimes get an unknown windows error...(probably why it won't update lol). Anyway for me to fix my launcher or download the patch manually somewhere?

Galeus✭Yeah I started from my computer being off to powering it up fresh, launcher wouldn't auto-update. It also doesn't seem to have any options to turn auto-update "on or off" either, as much of the support advice suggests. Is there a repair feature or something that's available, anyone know?0

Galeus✭Actually I found the repair function within the launcher and some kind of process has begun lol, I'm hopefully its patching...0
