The music is great guys, really, it is! But PLEASE expand their repertoire! Actually, what I'd really like to see is the ability to click on the bards in inns and have 2 more choices: 1. Silence Bard and 2. Have Bard play instrumentals. Seriously, even just having them NOT SING would be a huge boon.
What would also be great is to have them know "cultural" music. Just as each race knows a different dance it would be nice to have some music that actually compliments those dances. Then there could be a third option on bards like: 3. Play Khaijit Music. 4. Play Red Guard Music, etc. Yeah it's a bit of fluff but would be a really NICE bit of fluff to add down the line eventually.
You know, when the game is perfect and you no longer need to fix anything.

LOL! Now if only they'd enable bar fights! Actually though I was figuring that each player could do whatever they wanted and have it only affect them/their game.

Clearly.
You can't phase just one part of an instance. If you want the audio to be phased to the individual, everyone would have to have a private inn.
OP, I would support the idea if it were feasible. The only potential way I can see for this to happen is a jukebox-esque system, where the bard will queue up songs as people request them. Even then, the queue could get so long that it doesn't make a difference.----

Hmmm... darn technical difficulties. I guess the only solution then is that BARDS NEED TO LEARN A HELL OF A LOT MORE SONGS! Logan9a✭✭✭My solutions for the bards:
1. Yes, they should have different music rather than the 'it's all the same all over the world and yes, the music was 'made by committee' crap'.
2. Individuals should have the option to mute bards on their PC. Other people will still hear them but if you don't want to or find the same song tedious after hearing it several hundred times, you can turn it off.
3. You can load in your own sounds/music to your own PC. Other people won't hear them but if you really want to hear 'Stairway to Heaven' upon entering the bar, you can. (I'd have this be fairly complicated so that you can have different tracks play in different regions. Since it is all done on YOUR computer, it shouldn't affect others or the game at all.)0
