    What achievements are still broken?

    Mine have actually been fixed, about two or three patches ago.

    Really? thats odd several people in my guild have un completed zone achievements even though all the quests are comlete ,shard even though they have all shards for zone , and VR dungeon achieves. I tried the Zombie slayer in wayrest sewers last night. you know the one. Kill 20 zombies while killing the twins. Still broken.

    I have my Tamriel Hero achievement, and I got the zombies achievement a few days ago. So clearly the game hates you, or I'm just much, much prettier.

    Clearly . or just dishonest.the one for killing 20 zombies while killing the two bosses is broken for everyone. they have acknowledged the flagging is broken no one can get it.

    It is difficult. Some players have many more issues than others. Even with my old machine, I seem to have far fewer bugs than what others claim. I've had my share, but not to the degree of others.

    For example. I wasn't getting the Pact Hero title because of the bugged Rift quests. But they cleared that up. I still don't have the achievement for rescuing all the villagers in Bleakrock, but that's mainly because I didn't do it by accident the first time I ran it. I missed the guy with the dog.

    Currently waiting on Peacemaker to spawn in Aldmeri dominion to finish my last quest there. I've gotten every skyshard for each alliance. Every delve. Every dungeon. And only missed a few bosses in group delves, because of the rediculous respawn timers.

    My point, is that the achievements I don't have, is because I haven't done them. But I've seen it broken in the past, and don't doubt it could be even now.
    The group delve bosses are broken. to get the achieve you have to deliver the killing blow. if it works sometimes that will not do it either. the best way is to try to solo them which is very hard.

    The group delves are working, I've done 4 of the skill point challenges while leveling another character to VR.

    They do work, though it does seem some are still based on the 'last hit' rule, I couldn't tell you which ones were because I'm soloing them as a archer nightblade.

    Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

    He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

    This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    i don't see that there is a situation at hand. I personally like the system and think it encourages people to actually get out and do things. Crafting is already over the top robust in this game to the point there is little reason to do anything outside of it.

    The problem is this. Many achievements have been broken since launch Day . they have been reported and ZOS knows they are. Why they would release content based on a broken foundation i do not know.
    Your "broken foundation" is in the process of being fixed.

    And your confident it will be fixed? just like the leader bug has been known since Beta . That is a basic feature for a MMO five months ...... still broken. there is not a chance in all hell those achievements will be fixed . some of them wont even work unless you are the one delivering the final blow. Like those Public GROUP dungeons. your expected to solo the Bosses to get the achievement . Not trying to be a smart A@# but really now , do you think come monday your gonna get them? if they fix any of them you will have to go back and get them. considering some of them are reliant on one time opportunities and quests its likely many players will never have access to them.

    The leader bug is not related to achievements, so that is completely unrelated (I also have not experienced it myself until about a month ago, even though I played since beta and grouped dozens of times).

    I have not needed to get the final hit on a public dungeon boss (to get the conqueror & slayer achievements) since April or May, and since this seems to be the case for everyone else, that is also irrelevant.

    Quest and group challenge achievement fixes -- "one time opportunities," as you put it -- have been retroactive.

    Most of the bugs listed are almost certainly UI errors, where your progress is recorded but not properly awarded as an achievement.

    my guess is that one solid play through of the game to 50 will net you at least a basic color of every type. The hard to get dyes will probably be slight variants of what you already have.

    people are acting in typical mmorpg rational where they don't like it (I don't like it tbh) so they create some crazy scenario where there game will be ruined...

    so lets stop pretending you wont have any dyes, or the color you want, because you couldn't do some obscure achievement or a bugged one. Im sure youll have every color available by just normal play.

    To be fair, there has been a ZOS statement somewhere (Road Ahead letter?) that states that the rarer dyes will have a sheen, while the common dyes will not. So if you get a common red dye, it will just be plain red. If you get a rare red dye, it might have highlights in a color like gold or something. So the base colors will be similar, but the rare ones are still intended to be noticeably different (and possibly more desirable). As an example, Redguard ironthread clothing has a red/pink sheen on blue (and so does galatite armor), and the normal-quality Argonian birch shield has a green-blue sheen on brown.

    I have a concern. It seems a bunch of colours won't be unlockable since they depend on collectible achievements and as far as I know, the collectibles are still broken at this point.

    Not a great deal but it would have been nice to fix collectible while they implement dyes relying on those

You can only get it by wearing a full set of legendary gear, including legendary jewelry. Up to now, legendary gear of any sort (including accessories) has never dropped in game, and we can't craft or improve jewelry. Maybe they've added the possibility of gold drops, but I haven't been able to get get this achievement on the PTS. I'm not sure if it will be available from the start or if we'll have to wait.

    I'm only V4 so not worrying about legendary attire for now. Jewellery crafting will be implemented before I can craft myself a legendary set lol

    The dyed armor fiasco is a non-issue. Either you complete the achievements required in order to get the color you want, or you don't get the color. Simple as that.

    In no way does it take away revenue from crafters. Having said that, I'd like to be able to craft armor in colors that I have achieved and sell them too, but that's not the way it's going to be.

    Crafters still have viability. Custom sets will always be needed, as well as traits. 6 and 8 trait sets take quite a bit of time to research, and is an achievement in itself.

    Excuse me if I'm being dim, but will we get dyes for achievements we have already unlocked? Or will it be a case of starting a new game to get them all? (Haven't actually read the patch notes yet, so bear with me :))

    Indeed, it was confirmed on the patch notes for 1.3.0 ;)

    So first your complaint is that it ruins the game for crafters. Now you're saying that it doesn't change anything?

    I find the game extremely rewarding, but that's because I enjoy fun gameplay and an interesting story. I don't demand that the developers make a new set of gear every month or so in order to make my old gear obsolete. That's not a game; that's a Skinner Box (look it up).

    My guild did a few delves tonight, even had one named boss. Whole group got the achievement

    I don't have a problem with dyes being specific to a player and not being able to sell them across Tamriel.

    However, I do have a problem with the variation of shades available. When I see some armor, I doubt that I will be able to tell the difference between Enchanter Tangerine and General's Gold.

    We will have a lot of pretty shades of armor encoded using a cipher that no one can decode.

    Edit: Oh, and I already cannot tell the difference between Mages Guild Blue and Apprentice Blue.

    This. I am guessing without a top notch graphics set-up and a score card most people won't know or care which achievements you are wearing. Soon we will have people asking that colors similar to their top "achievement" colors be changed because they aren't special enough. I understand there are supposed to be "sheens" and the like, but are they going to be noticeable to most folks, especially those with average to low end systems?

    Personally, I would have preferred to seen this be a crafted item with some components being rarer than others or only available from certain areas. (Cyrodill Blue only from certain PvP areas for example.)

    Rarer dyes have a "sheen" to them. Think of different paints. Dyes come in flat, eggshell, semi-gloss and glossy. You can tell the difference between a common shade of red and a rare shade of red. It's a neat detail.

    Collectibles are working on the PTS, so unless they break it on live it'll be fine.
    Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?
