Wait....dying the item binds it to your account? So you can't sell colored armor? If that's the case then I'm tired of this company blocking ways to generate a community and a market. Now pretty much everyone will do the achievements for just the color they want and stop....so crafters won't have an outlet to really feel valueable. If I can't sell a red daedric armor then what's the point? It will be exciting for about 2 weeks...then be meaningless. I've never seen a company promise so much freedom but never delivers that feeling and continually does things to stop trading and the community from growing.

Be binding the color they block crafters from really being able to stand out....anyone that's in this game from launch has all the motifs they want...mats are pretty easy to get and research just takes time....If a Smith could actually sell colors it would actually make a value to their work....but Nooooo these FN idiots kill the chance to reward you for your hard work....they make things too easy for everyone so Noone can be different....basically the dumbest thing I have ever seen.
The whole point of an economy is based on unique items....but when everyone has such easy access to everything it makes nothing really that special....maybe if those 8 trait armors really do boost your stats better then 4 or 5 trait it would be worthwhile...but constantly blocking those players from building a name or making a profit from their hard work is just stupid.
This just gives me more reasons to play dayz and wait for destiny. I'm tired of the hope and hype to only find out its ZOS' d. ..it's like paying for Megan Fox and getting Melissa McCarthy (20 years from now).

First, you seem to be missing the part where dyes are about your achievements (this time I had to make it bold and italic to make sure you read it). Not anyone else's achievements. Not your ability to buy things. Your achievements. I have the Tamriel Hero title. I'm excited to see what dyes I have available for completing content that most people haven't. It would mean nothing if someone else could just buy a set of dyed armor that they didn't earn.

Yeah, I get that.
But I think you're overlooking the fact that some people were planning on using dyes to create a market for crafters. They were hoping that they would have something to make people want to buy their crafted gear.
It's a double edged sword, great for people who want to show that they have achievements (provided you have an colour map for the dye-achievements), not so great for those who wanting the crafting to take off.

Well, if you'd left my second paragraph in, you'd see that crafters already have a pretty thriving market. I make very good money as a crafter, and I mainly do medium armor and weaponsmithing (by all accounts, I should be one of the least popular crafters in the game).
I have a simple question that has probably already been asked but I missed it. Is the only way to get dyes through unlocking achievements? I know that is how you get a lot of them but is that the only way? I personally was hoping that you would be able to craft, buy, and sell at least some of them. Not terrible if it is all achv based but will bum me out a little .... I'll just have to figure out the various blacks and orange dyes and do those ones!

And I don't know why you think crafting is that easy. I fill at least one full set order per day on my main character, never mind the thousands I rake in from selling VR12 enchantments. We do not need yet another way to make money, especially with the new motifs/sets that will be coming with future updates.

I feel like they struggle with the whole .. you know ... MMO part of the game at times. I am willing to stick with it and let them iron out the wrinkles (yes .. pretty big wrinkles) until there comes a point where I am bored. When I get bored in a mmo I take a break. I should also state that it is easy to keep my attention ... I can just run dungeons all day and be happy.

Why, yes.
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

Mine have actually been fixed, about two or three patches ago.

Really? thats odd several people in my guild have un completed zone achievements even though all the quests are comlete ,shard even though they have all shards for zone , and VR dungeon achieves. I tried the Zombie slayer in wayrest sewers last night. you know the one. Kill 20 zombies while killing the twins. Still broken.

I have my Tamriel Hero achievement, and I got the zombies achievement a few days ago. So clearly the game hates you, or I'm just much, much prettier.

The group delve bosses are broken. to get the achieve you have to deliver the killing blow. if it works sometimes that will not do it either. the best way is to try to solo them which is very hard.ruze84b14_ESO wrote: »nerevarine1138 wrote: »Wifeaggro13 wrote: »ruze84b14_ESO wrote: »What achievements are still broken?

It is difficult. Some players have many more issues than others. Even with my old machine, I seem to have far fewer bugs than what others claim. I've had my share, but not to the degree of others.
For example. I wasn't getting the Pact Hero title because of the bugged Rift quests. But they cleared that up. I still don't have the achievement for rescuing all the villagers in Bleakrock, but that's mainly because I didn't do it by accident the first time I ran it. I missed the guy with the dog.
Currently waiting on Peacemaker to spawn in Aldmeri dominion to finish my last quest there. I've gotten every skyshard for each alliance. Every delve. Every dungeon. And only missed a few bosses in group delves, because of the rediculous respawn timers.
My point, is that the achievements I don't have, is because I haven't done them. But I've seen it broken in the past, and don't doubt it could be even now.
