no invite in EP pvp

Do not blame people for refusing to invite you because you are not on TS, this game is not a dictatorship... people can form whichever they want with others no problem and also people can refuse to go with one because of above mentioned actions or if have a reputation of being let us say a spy, disobeying orders or simply not listening in.

The morale in this story is mainly, have TS/Mumble and Ventrilo installed, it will do wonders and certainly increase your chance for getting a group for pvp in this game.

I do have all of those... that is not the problem.

Hey Duyo, try finding a guild in dawnbreaker. I'm not sure I know the guilds proper name, but Titans in dawnbreaker was actively recruiting in zone chat. Usually they're led by Judge. (I think it might be Judge Hunter). Add me in game if you like, I'll see what I can do to get you set up with a EP coalition guild. As long as you have TS and are willing to rework your build while following the group lead, it shouldn't be any problem. What class is your tank that you mentioned? I'm at work now, but usually on ESO around 7pm central. I'm confident I can find you a guild. Most of our guilds tend to rarely read zone, and NEVER discuss location and strategy in zone due to people spying with alts and by watching EP live streams. That might be a big part of the problem your having, rather than you being personally ignored.

Thanks :) I'll try to catch you tonight. My tank is a templar since it has what I believe is the best non resto staff heal. meaning i can have shield and heal just fine

EP on wabba I constantly see people saying in zone chat 'Type 111 for X'. X being whatever objective they are after/defending.

I still don't know what one would need a group for in PvP - besides from leeching AP of other players. Buffs are aoe effects, heals are aoe effects, so why do you need to be in a group? And what is preventing you from building a group yourself?
if people wont invite "loners" to a group, what makes you think they would join a "loners" group? most people on the campaign I am on, don't seem to think to much of us "pugs" I highly doubt they would join a "pug group"

Never really had your problem to be honest... and I am not a member of some big PvP guild... I don't play enough for then meaning it would be pointless of me taking up a guild spot somewhere when it at max get to like maybe up to 3-4 times a week I join the forces.

Guess it helped a bit that captured a scroll with a group and then intercepted a stolen one for ending killing the carrier of that and ran to the goal line with the additional scroll lol.

Though I mainly play a loner in pvp, when I need a group can get it, but I still get buggy when in a group so generally decline invites less its a smaller group and so on.

But DC is sometimes go about making sure people are grouped up, all depends on who is about and if they are trying to make solid pushes.

Exactly. These are PUGs that anyone can join that often successfully take objectives without the help of other groups. Some are voicecomms only, some aren't. Occasionally they are really bad, but more often they are filled with decent players who understand pvp mechanics and can work together quite well.

On AD on Wabba it's a constant stream of pug groups with certain people always willing to take the lead.

TS makes life easier to follow the group but you can still just follow the crown it ain't rocket science unless your playing with the stack on the crown crews.

But yes for the most part it seems like the guilds who PVP the are closed shops and paranoid about spies. It wouldn't be PVP without the paranoia.

I'm an Australian that plays on the NA server in, AD Dawnbreaker and the two groups I usually run with would be more than happy to take you on board, and the few Aussie guilds I have run with in the past would do the same I'd wager.

Honestly, I've not had any issue with finding regulars to run with, for the most part I've only found people to be warm and inviting. Maybe I'm just lucky, I don't know... but that's been my experience.

Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

I usually tag along with any large groups running around, I watch for invites and sometimes will ask to be added, it depends on the time of day and the people that are currently on. don't get disheartened when you don't get invited, if there's conversations going on join in, make yourself known. there are great groups of people out there, you just have to find them.

I had some pretty good experience with random grouping on Goldbrand.

Provided there actually was a EP group playing at the time i have always been able to get an invite within minutes.

why do you care about grouping that much?
No teamwork, tactics, listening to orders that maybe actually make sense, etc.
thats what you can find in random *** groups. it doesnt matter how hard the leader tries, usually from 20 max 4-5 people will ever listen and act.

Better teams honestly fear getting spied, we all know each faction does it.

I suggest looking at the map, finding a battle and showing up and being useful. Gain some AP, kick some rear end, and then use /y.

One good time is right after taking a resource or keep, when flags are changing most guilds in Voice Chat are planning their next move and that is the best time to contact them about joining.

Another good time is during a siege that you are at, offense or defense.

I am also in EP and I get kinda nervous about random's. They do stupid things like cap the flag when we tell them not to while enemies have a tower loaded with oil and 30 players. They do stupid things like use healing springs when we are stealthed, trying to hide. They charge in when we don't want them to.

Honestly, that is the main barrier you have to overcome. There are some good PVP guilds full of nice people that would be happy to have you; be prepared to install Teamspeak 3.

    Within; Without.
