Which class is your main? Which class would you rather be? (Explain why in the comments)

Dragon Knight. This poll amuses me.
An interesting question, too bad the poll is useless.
I would like to be a "warrior". But since this is not possible by (fail) design in ESO, I use DK to compliment my (meh) weapon skills, simply to add some extra survivability (e.g. Green Dragon Blood, Standard ultimate).
    Basically this.

Would rather have been able to chose three skill trees than a class.

    Agree with this

This poll amuses me because you seem to have a bad case of DK envy.

I love my NB archer. I do have a DK tank also, but I have more fun with my NB archer than my DK tank.

    Nightblade. Rather be a Templar
Well, I guess there is no option for "I like my main just fine".

But since I want to vote, I will choose 'Nightblade, rather be a Templar'. Because I only have one alt and it is a Templar, and he feels way more powerful leveling up compared to my Nightblade.

    Sorcerer. Rather be a Templar
I always wanted to play a 'paladin' type heavy armour type character with 1 - 2 heal abilities purely for self preservation... unfortunately the templar abilities don't really play that way and I often found the smart healing would assist others rather than myself in mass combat.

Then I saw bolt escape on a sorc and just had to have it! I've played a sorcerer since then and enjoyed it, however I've found the generally ranged style it offers gets old fairly quickly.

At the moment I'm trying a melee build using critical surge, bound armour and it seems to work reasonably well in PvE

This is possibly the closest thing I'd have chosen, but considering it's not even an option (yet) I'm happy with my Sorcerer

    :)

I can see the Necromancer becoming a class in the future, or classes becoming non-existent outside of a generic 'Mage / Warrior / Thief' archetype (which perhaps has a set of generic passives / spells for said archetypes). Classes seem almost redundant with the upcoming spell crafting system, outside of a few spells and passives, the class you select might be completely irrelevant. I'd love for them to implement a similar stamina based fighting style system which would allow the complete 'freedom' of a TES game to emerge.

I'm desperately waiting for a Morrowind-like system, I'd re-roll in a heartbeat if it meant specialising in destruction, restoration, mysticism (or alternation) and conjuration :P! I can see it now, destruction being broken down into frost/fire/shock which is further broken down into offensive/defensive. You're given a limited amount of points and blah blah blah, think RIFT and the soul system.

^^ This, although it's probably wishful thinking :p
    Failing that ... :
I was born a Nightblade, I'll die a Nightblade! It was my first class choice even during the beta and I haven't wanted to change it since =)

    I have to concur :)
Opinions are like buttholes : Everybody has one, and they usually stink.

    3 things to reduce stamina/magicka imbalance :
    - Use magicka to block abilities costing magicka, instead of stamina.
    - Add % damage reduction to heavy armor.
    - Add block penetration to 2H.

Nightblade. Rather be a Dragon Knight
I am currently playing NB as my main and I have enjoyed it. But the DK skills look cool too.

Reason being a lot of the core rogue mechanics I thought would be in game, specifically poisons and scaling walls are not.
